Everyone’s talking about how they think Matthew is going to get his runes stripped, but I think he is going to get sent to the scholomance against his will instead. Here’s my proof.

In The Lost World from GOTSM it says this:

I think this is talking about Matthew because

1) the year is 1904 which is probably right after TLH, and 2) that’s such a Matthew saying to carve into the wall.

I feel like Matthew might do something bad at the end of TLH which could cause him to get sent to the scholomance. That would be why he carved “I did not choose this life” into the wall because he was forced to go.
