All the Love - Part 25

19 months 

Within the past month, Harry and I had decided to take a last minute trip away. It was beyond perfect, for one solid week we didn’t have to worry about anything. The paps, the drama and looking after Darcy wasn’t an issue. We’d FaceTime Anne every day to see her, talk to her but she was always too busy cuddling the cats to give us any attention. Life was pretty much perfect. I often found myself staring at either Harry or Darcy, completely in love with them. 

I laid in bed with Harry and Darcy. It was one of this Sunday morning where you never wanted to get out of bed, or start the day, a kind of day where you just wanted to lay there in complete peace. I just wanted to lay there beside them both forever. She was cuddled into my side. With her hand on my chest and one holding my hair. She was the sweetest little thing in the world. I’d just stare at her and my heart would melt. My love for her was completely unconditional. 

“You know I just love her so much.” I said to Harry whilst I stroked her hair. 

“I know you do.” He wrapped his around me and kissed my forehead. “She loves you too.”

“But I love her as though she were my own.” 

“I know. We can all see it.” I just laid stroking her hair. “Babe you’re her mum.” 

“I know. I just worry…”

“Worry about what babe?” Harry asked. 

“Nothing?” I smile brushing it off. 

“Not tell me.”

“Babe it’s fine.”

“I’m not arguing with you, tell me.”

“I just worry that if anything happened to us I have no rights.” 

“What do you mean no rights?”

“I just don’t have an legal say.”

“Why would you need it?” Harry asked. 

“Harry…”

“What? Do you think I’m going to take her away from you?”

“Harry look what happened last time.” 

“What are you talking about?”

“When we broke up and you stopped me from seeing her.” 

“I was upset, I didn’t want to see you!” He distanced himself away from. 

“Yes but you could have got Gem, or Anne or your assistant to drop her off but you never did. Instead I had to wait until Gemma had her, I had to ask Gemma is she could look after Darcy for the weekend just so I could see her!” My voice got louder as the conversation continued causing Darcy to stir. 

“I’m not going to do that.”

“But you could and you have one before.” 

“Do you really think I would do that?” 

“You could do it.”

“But I won’t.”

“How am I meant to believe you?”

“You just need too. I would never do that to you.” 

“No Harry, you’ve already done it! And you could do it again and then I have no right to see her, to see my daughter.” Harry just stood there staring at me. “What?!”

“Your daughter?” He smiled. “It’s the first time you’ve ever call her that.”

“Oh.” I started to stutter. “I.”

“No don’t say anything.” He came back to us, putting his arm around my shoulder and cuddling into me. 

I loved her like she was my daughter, she may as well be.  I could never put into words what she meant to me or the love I had for her, it was indescribable. It was unconditional. I was there from the very moment she was born and nearly everyday since. I was always going to be there for her, no matter what. Even if Harry and I were no longer together, I need her in my life. As far as I saw it, she was my Daughter.

I miss the time when you used to write. I'm not so into the insta posts and all that and I really wish you write again because it was amazing

18 months old 

“Babe!” I walked into the house dropping my bags and case at the front door. The whole house was quite, there wasn’t a sound from my boyfriend or my beautiful little girl which I had missed so much. But there was a few toys laid on the ground of the hallway and I knew I was home, where I belonged. 

“(Y/N)” I heard her shout my name through the house and her foot steps came running, she came out from the corner giggling. Running and jumped into my arms, I held her so tight. I picked her up and cuddled her so close. 

“Oh I’ve missed you baby girl.” I kissed her head more times than I could count. 

“Love you.” She said cuddling into my shoulder. 

“I love you too, my sweet girl.” I said kissing her head. “Where’s daddy?”

“I’m here.” He said walking over to me. “Hello gorgeous.” He wrapped me into a hug. 

“Hey.” I started to kiss him. 

“We’ve missed you.” 

“I can tell.” I laughed as she clinged on to me. “How have you been without me?” I giggle kissing harry again before trying to Darcy down. 

“We’ve managed.” Harry laughed. “It’s been hard but we’ve survived.”

“Good to know you can cope without me.”

“Barely.” He laughed.” Darcy grabbed my hand and pulling me into then kitchen. 

I walked into the kitchen to a banner, obviously written by Harry but with Darcy’s drawing all around. ‘Welcome home.’ She ran in-front of the banner to showcase what her and her dad had down. There was a cake with we missed you in chocolate stars, balloons everywhere and little sandwich’s they had made. I took everything in, how thought and sweet it all was. I soon felt Harry’s hand on my hips and his mouth next to my ear. “It was all her idea.” I laughed, I’d love to think that my eighteen month old was so clever to do so but it was obvious Barry was behind it. “Is this for me?” I asked her. She smiled so proudly. “Thank you angel.” I said picked her up. 

We had ate sandwiches, cake and drank our body weight in tea. Now Darcy was in bed asleep, she wouldn’t sleep unless I was the one who read her a bed time story. I didn’t complain, I had missed it. I missed putting her to bed, kissing her forehead as she slept and having her run into my room on a morning to wake me up. Now, Harry and I were on the couch with a glass of wine, catching up on some TV show we had missed due to me being away. “So this mystery woman.” I mentioned. 

“For fuck sake. I knew you wouldn’t be able to not mentioned it.” His voice had a temper whilst his eyes rolled.

“What’s that meant to mean?”

“You. You are like a dog with a bone. You can just let someone go.” 

“We haven’t talked about it H!” 

“We have!” He shouted. “I sent you a text that night saying I met up with a friend. That it was nothing.”

“It may well be. But who is this friend? I’ve never met her? Fucking hell Harry I’ve never even heard of her before?” 

“I don’t have to tell you who all my friends are.” 

“You do when she’s fucking flirting with you in front of paparazzi!” 

“she wasn’t flirting. (Y/N) stop being crazy.”

“She was touching you and had our girl on her lap kissing her head!” 

“Fucking hell babe!” He stood up putting his glass of wine on the table. 

“Harry, I’m not trying to be an arsehole but it’s fucking weird. It doesn’t look good. This woman who I’ve never heard of meets up with you and Darcy and it’s touching and feeling with you both.”

“Don’t you trust me?”

“Of course I do. But I feel like you’ve been hiding her away from me. It feels so secretive.”

“Well it’s not. She’s a friend from school who I bumped into when I was taking Darcy to the park. That’s it I promise.”

“Then why was she touching you?”

“I don’t honestly don’t know. She’s aware I have a girlfriend and I’m happy, I kept mentioning you and made it clear we were happy.”

“But Darcy.” I said. He knelt down in-front of me. 

“So what if someone else kisses her? You know you’re her mother.”
