My biggest wish for next season is for Will to have an incredible year. Hope next season is Will's "prove those shit talker wrong" season.
Not just because I want to see him succeed, but because I'm tired of people acting like he's only valuable because of Mack. He isn't. He's a genuinely talented hockey player in his own right.
I hope he has the kind of season that leaves no room for doubt 😔❤
guys!! i really think will is just naturally a clean and organized person same as mack.
will's mom has talked about how organized he is (mom's gene for sure), and matty (will's summer roomate in boston) literally said he was a great roommate because he kept his stuff clean.
so.. I guess willmack was always destiny. Fate. The universe's plan. or whatever it is. They are perfect puzzle pieces 🥰
Laila Edwards, congratulations on being drafted to san jose 😭👏🏻❤
Girl im so happy for you and i hope you're about to sign at least 20 endorsement deals because have you seen the cost of living in san jose?? 😭
Im so sad the way an nhl rookie can make close to a million dollars while some pwhl players are making 40k-90k at most 😭
I really hope the pwhl continues to grow and increase salaries because these athletes deserve to be paid well and live comfortably in the cities they play in.
I see it before in many rpf and i really don't like it 😩 some of y'all need to remember that will is allowed to have friends, hobbies, and a life outside of mack.
I have watched enough fandoms to know that the people who insist they are being normal are often the same people who end up crashing out when things don't go the way they imagined.
And you know whats the worst part? they usually end up becoming haters 😔 say it joked at first and after that it would be very easy to say many things to hurts him.
This is my formal request for Will Smith to get a haircut 🙈🙈 I know a lot of people love the long curls, the hair wings but I'm ready for Will's short hair era again. And let's be honest, short-haired Will is ridiculously handsome 🌝🌝
Friendly reminder to manage your expectations for stanley pup. The show is like 95% puppies playing hockey and 5% nhl players appearing for approximately one minute 😭😭 Will not gonna be there for full hour, he's probably going to show up for one minute, say something cute, pet a dog, and disappear.

In honor of Worlds this year, thought I'd bring back one of my fav Will character notes: he is a hockey nerd. not just in the way that he plays hockey of course he knows certain stats but he is like your eccentric uncle with a themed mancave that remembers who caught the second touchdown of the 1990 AFC championship.
From Warso's post-worlds interview last year:
(sorry for Warso jumpscare but he's oddly really complimentary of Will in this)
"The kid is a special person. He is an extremely gifted hockey player, but he's an unbelievable kid, wants to get better, wants to learn, wants to, you know, he's a hockey nut. Like he knows the history of the game. Like he'll talk to Doug Houda in San Jose on the bus about like the Bruins game in 2014 like game 2 in the Eastern Conference Finals and he's bringing up like plays that Andrew Ference made. Like he is a huge hockey nerd"
Whit: "(Laughs) he was nine"
"Yeah and he just loves to learn about the game and he's coachable."
Mostly making this for my own reference, but Gabe + other articles under the cut:
Not only does he remember random games, he remembers random players' tape jobs.
In Max Miller's interview with Gabe:
Max Miller: "He's told me last two years about your guys random tape jobs during BC practices. What's maybe the one random one you could think of or whatever? I remember there was a day last year, Smith did a tape job, and he said "Oh this is Mikko Koivu" but he did it off the cuff. What's the ones that you remember most?"
Gabe: "Oh there's honestly so many we would do. We would mix up a bunch of colors, puck marks, different stuff. Just kind of always having fun with it and you know we did that for a couple of years. So I mean, there's so many. He knows a lot of random ones of a lot of random players."
Max also noted that Will likes to talk about his gear:
"Talking shop (gear) with Smith is one of my favorite things to do when I am not interviewing the Sharks winger. For me, it is a good way to break the ice (no pun intended). Like me, Smith is a gearhead. After morning skate on Jan. 23 before leaving the Sharks locker room, Smith turned to me and said, “What do you think of the skates?”"
He has a growing stick collection from players (Matthews, Ovechkin, Gaudreau, Bergeron, DeBrincat) and knows the details of the sticks players use:
“I like the funky sticks. Draisaitl’s is pretty cool,” Smith said. “It’s a long, flat blade, so obviously great for a passer, and clearly can score a lot with it too.”
Not just when he was in the league, but since he was a kid!:
[Brodie asked him why he stops to sign for fans after the game]
"My dad says make sure you stop, cause I was the kid who was asking for the stick [Brodie: Really?] Yeah I was the one who was bothering the players for sticks so I know what it's like"
Will is a gearhead through and through!!! He is hockey downnnnn dont forget it!

damn i think i’ve fallen too deep into the will smith hockey hole because why was everyone else cringing at the bronco ad while i was sitting here giggling and getting even more endeared by him 😭 help meee!!
Begging talented fic writers to adopt samisa for a little while because i NEED to read at least 10k (100k is better) of their love story. I will eat any trope 😭😭
if i knew how to write properly i promise i would’ve handled this myself already 😔😔
The way people obsess over who Will walks with, talks to, breathes near… yeah I’m praying for him at this point 😭😭 like why people act like super private investigator all the time?
Some of you are SO overdramatic whenever Will has a bad game. He is improved so much this year, his points are up, his game is getting more solid. But whenever he has an off night some of you turn it as edits on tiktok and sad posts like thats who he is as a player. People who dont even follow him will start thinking he is always struggling, which is just not true. He is a second year NHL player, not a finished product. Stop acting like he is struggling all the time when he is actually doing GOOD.
Btw instead of making sad edits about Will like he is some tragic player and made him look so miserable all the time, you should try to produce more of those sexy, cool, handsome, or aura farming, or some great game he had, or anything that make Will look GOOD.
