We finale have a release date for the finale (I will have Astruc's head on my wall if this is false, I'm sick of him having online arguments and being vague instead of working on his show). We got a finale Trailer from Miraculous' official social media (Youtube and Instagram), as well as a TFOU interview with a Miraculous Corp representative.
We've gotten so much news in recent days, including the release date of Season 7 (Holy shit).
I'm gonna make a few posts going over major points from the two combined, so let's start with Secret Protocol stuff.
So after the mindfuck that was episode 24's final scene, people have been certain that Wang Cheng would be present in episode 25 for his niece's birthday. And as expected, he shows up at the Dupain Cheng doorstep.
Additionally, we see Marinette running from none other than Kung Food. So, the theories were correct. Not a villain I ever expected to return. But if they were able to give Pixelator a new form and more engaging story this season, why the hell not.
Best guess is that he gets akumatized because of Sabine's birthday being ruined.
As for this episode's overall plot, I assume its opening is going to take place where Sadnansi left off at the end. We have a scene of Marinette at Adrien's at night, with them sitting together while Adrien holds Froggy.
Adrien mentions Marinette being angry with Gabriel, and it's clear to me that Marinette's going to feel even more guilty later about lying again. She's letting Adrien's calls go to voicemail, and is just rotting in her room due to paranoia.
As for the main plot here, I'm still not sure why Cat Noir went agro in the original teaser for this one. We know Carapace and Minatourox join the battle, but Kung Food doesn't seem like the person to make people angry or have them lose their composure.
I do think that is going to end with Sabine's actual birthday celebration, and the scene of Marinette in her dress taking off / putting on her earrings. We got a new scene with similar lighting to this Gloob teaser, with Sabine on the phone and talking to Tom.
Here, Sabine says "Who's in the guest bedroom?"
I think we all know who's in the guest bedroom.
My guess is that Marinette is going to get anxious at the possibility of a stranger being here, and is either hiding her earrings to prevent them being taken, or is arming herself for the possibility that she needs to fight and defend her family.
I think her paranoia is going to make her jump to the conclusion of "Oh my god, it must be the butterfly holder, they're here for me, I'm trapped, what do I do?"
We also have an additional scene of earlier in the day, with Marinette listening through the door of the guest bedroom. Has she known that Lila is here? Has she know that Uncle Wang brought a guest? Maybe Sabine's question isn't a fear of "Who else is here in the house?" but rather a fear of "Who *is* this person that's been brought here?"
I think Marinette suspects this person of being evil, but isn't confirmed in her suspicions until she's trapped with her family and can't do anything about it.
GOD August 1st can't come quick enough.
Lastly, we have scenes of the Miraculers at Miracle Station. This could additionally be the opening scene, or the ending as Marinette prepares for the prospect of confronting Chrysalis.
I know this Secret Protocol because the teaser thumbnail had Ladybug here.
Ladybug and Cat Noir are talking to 14 of the main Miraculers, and I bet this is the titular 'Secret Protocol' [I SAID THE THING]. I bet that Ladybug and Cat Noir are making a new plan and strategy. This is probably where the episode ends and we move on to Nemesis. Only heroes we are missing are Viperion, Argos and Bunnyx for obvious reasons. They're all awol and too far to respond immediately to a crisis in Paris. (FELIX DOES NOT LIVE IN PARIS YET THEY ARE JUST PLANNING TO MOVE).
