News: Shingeki no Kyojin Tankobon Volume 28 + 10th Anniversary Can Badge Collection

Original Release Date: April 9th, 2019 (Japanese) onward Retail Prices: 475 Yen (Japanese Regular Edition) TBA (Japanese Limited Edition with 2 Can Badges)

The cover of SnK Vol. 28, featuring Levi and Zeke, has been previewed by Kodansha! To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the series in October as well, the Limited Edition of Vol. 28 will come with two special SnK can badges.

The issues of Bessatsu Shonen magazine’s May to October 2019 issues (Released from April - September 2019) will also each come with one special SnK can badge as supplement, making for 8 can badges total. The May 2019 issue of Bessatsu Shonen will also include a special case for collectors to store all 8 badges!

I think even a Japanese person explained that grabbing one's head out of frustration is a common thing to do, especially for Japanese culture. So I don't really get the point about Levi "getting a headache"?

I don’t think it’s a headache, but I understand people zooming in it. It’s the first time Levi has done this, and it happens in a chapter that specifically mentions headaches as an Ackerman trait.

Personally I believe this panel is a red herring. It’s designed  to make us wonder, however briefly, if Eren’s Ackertalk is accurate. I don’t think it is. Not Eren’s speech nor the headache. There’s no sfx to indicate headache and it is just as easily explained as being situational. We’ve never seen evidence of Levi having headaches despite frequent disagreements with Erwin. Or Kenny for that matter.

I also puzzle over the idea that the head grab could indicate a change of liege,  especially when Levi’s promise to Erwin is given special focus as he is literally kneeling before him in knight/liege fashion.

So yes, I agree with you. I understand the talk surrounding the panel, but not many of the possible interpretations.

By the way, there was a time when my former assistant asked me ‘did you get married with Yamamoto Arisa-san?’ The name of my partner is not Yamamoto Arisa. The reason of such rumor was a report manga work from the Magazine Pocket editorial office. A character in the manga shared the same name with Yamamoto-san. The author of the manga has apologized to me ‘sorry I caused you some inconvenience…’ But I didn’t pay attention at all back then. However… we still caused some trouble to this Yamamoto Arisa-san…  I will feel really happy if you (readers and fans) can just keep watching over us with a warm heart!
