Murkrow had been around Castelia along time. She knew everyone, and a little bit of everything that happened in this down. If there was anyone who’d be able to help me track down the stolen notebooks, it was her. As I walked into her bar, I couldn’t help but wonder if Murkrow had forgiven me for the small part I’d played in putting away her nephew for the bank job he'd pulled in Sinnoh. I’ve never thought of myself as the kind of ‘mon who takes pleasure in a dishing out a punch, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't get just the brand of energy I needed seeing Hitmontop’s head spin.
All I wanted was a holiday. I though a trip to Mahi-Mahi Resort would help me relax. What I got when I went there was so different. All I saw was some slimy humanoids in the water face down. They weren't homo sapiens, they weren't homo pokerus. Were they squids? Or were they kids? No one really knew, and nothing really mattered, because they were dead. At first, I thought I accidentally electrocuted them, but then I saw chip markings consistent of axe attacks. The Villager? No, it can't be...
