the fact that community colleges are seen as less valid and for âstupidâ people is a result of classism and in this essay I will-
ppl in the tags saying that itâs âgenuinely a lesser tier of education because people go there for trades and nursing and thats about itâ are just proving that its classism. bc a) no thats absolutely not correct. a good chunk of people that go to community colleges do so to knock out their gen eds at a lower price than theyâd be if they went to a four year, then transfer to a four year. and more importantly b) trade professions are not lesser than other professions that take higher degrees. people who go into things that take associates degrees are not âstupidâ.
if you think ppl who are too poor to attend a four year university for all four years, or that ppl who are too poor to/donât want to get their bachelorâs/masterâs/doctorate are âstupidâ then i have news for you:
thats classism, babe
Some of the hidden ghosts in The Haunting Of Hill House
She said, âwhat if I dive deep? Will you come in after me? Will you share your flaws with me? Let me know.â
I told her, âthinking is all wrong. Love will happen when it wants. I know it hurts sometimes but donât let it go.â
Itâs devastating. Youâre devastated right now.
1. I built walls not to keep people out, but to contain myself within. I chipped away at myself so that I wouldnât be âtoo much.â So that I wouldnât be too loud, too emotional, too transparent all of the time. I thought I had to shrink to make myself more palatable even if it left me feeling lukewarm. I didnât know that it was okay to want to be loved as I am. I had never known a love that wasnât conditional.

2. They say that open and honest communication in relationships is key. What they donât tell you is how nobody will actually want to hear about how they have hurt you.Â
They will tell you they love your big heart until they do something inconsiderate. Then when you try to address it, they will say you are too sensitive.
They will tell you that they love how passionate you are until they have a disagreement with you. Then, even when you come to an understanding, they will only say you are too aggressive - too difficult.
They will tell you that they only want the best for you until they do something that lets you down. Then they will brush you off and say you are just too hard to please.
They will turn your traits against you. They will convince you that everything that theyâve said that they loved about you were actually all flaws. They will lash out in guilt, they will lash out in discomfort, and they will blame you so that they wonât have to face themselves.
You are too much. You are just too much for them to handle when you refuse to shrink for their convenience.

3. I have learned that when people tell me I am too much, they are actually just afraid that they are not enough.
