Georgie kept her pace up, trying to steady her breath enough to talk. “It’s okay. I got song inspiration. And I like to think it’s made me stronger. You learn from your experience and all that, right?” She laughed slightly, covering her mouth as the girl hit into a man. “Sorry, sir,” Georgie yelled, running back beside Harley. “I guess so.”
Harley frowned a bit at the man, but chose to return to running normally and keeping a steady pace beside Georgie. “I definitely learned from the experience,” she muttered under her breath before releasing a breathy chuckle. She looked up and, upon noticing a cafe around the corner, grinned brightly. “Come on. That place has amazing coffee. Plus they make cupcakes that are to die for.”
