I know a lot of us are logging into these spaces for the first time in what feels like forever. It’s strange, almost like the past and future are blurring together, creating this surreal moment. But I want you all to know, what we shared was real, and I love you all for it.
So many of us turned to the fandom back then, trying to escape whatever was happening in the real world. We found each other when we needed it most, and that support is still here. Even though it’s been over 10 years since I’ve spoken to many of you, I know we’re all feeling the same heaviness right now. Grieving someone who, sadly, hadn’t truly loved himself in a long time.
That’s the bittersweet part of childhood—it’s precious because it’s so brief. Here one moment, gone the next, but always held close in our hearts.
