—Why does it constantly smell like vomit?
I have no idea...?
Clearing her throat she spoke up again. “You’re not gonna rat on me, are you?”
"Rat you out? Heavens no.. I want in."
I actually was just was - okay, I guess being social would please the doctors around here.
I don't think anything what we do would please the doctors. But I do think that making them more pissed off is a great idea. I'm Harper and you are?
"I uhm... I'm not feeling good so if you want to hang out, we can. I'll try to feel better."
"Nope, totally not here."
"Uhm... Hello... I can still kinda see you there."
"How is my patient doing today?"
"Do you have like a bottle of Whiskey, I really need ALCOHOL..."
I kind of wish I smoked these...
Geez, what’s up your butt and why did you feel the need to bring it over to me?
I didn't want to bring it over you, gosh sorry. I will just shut up then.
"My conditions are…" He paused for a moment to glance around the area in hopes of finding something to serve purpose. A curve then played at his lips once he noticed the park not too far from where they had been standing. "My conditions, my dear Harper, are that you can keep yourself from getting locked up, only if you can make it to the park before I can.”
"Yes..." She saw him looking around but she just kept her eyes on him just to make sure he was still there. She was scared he was disappearing any time soon. What? A race? "Alright bring it on then."
She picked up Django and tilted her head to the side. "What about him?"
"Yeah! Gosh I love that joke."
"You were actually making that joke? I thought you were being serious."
I kind of wish I smoked these...
"And I kind of wish I had a bottle of whiskey right now. So I guess this sucks for both of us."
"Do you know what’s not right?"
"I'm guessing left?"
"Oh it’s going to be a while." He spoke, fighting to keep a straight face. "There’s been some cases where people were sentenced to lifetimes in prison for stealing a collar. I’d be willing to let it slide though…Under one condition.”
"Wh- what? I have never heard of anyone that went to jail for life because of stealing a collar." She tilted her head a little to the side. "What are your conditions... Officer?"
"I didn’t think i could get sick anymore. This is bullshit."
"It's bullshit to not get sick? Well let's see how that works out in the end then?"
"Oh you thief! I’m going to have to report you, y’know. Sorry, Harper." He teased with a shake of his head as he did his best to keep a straight face. "I’ll have to call the collar police and tell them what happened. Django, you’ll probably get arrested too. I mean, you’re wearing the thing!"
"I like to think of it as a neighborly borrow." She felt like she was in trouble yet she couldn't stop giggling. She then playfully shook her head. "No please. I don't know for how long they are going to take me away."
"What do you say.. Sexy librarian?"
"Well I would say that... You know if I was into girls."
"That’s awesome." He replied as a smile appeared over his features. "So I’m assuming they let you keep him? I mean, I’m pretty sure they’ve noticed by now. I can hear him meow from the basement." A chuckle drew past his lips as the thought of Django alerting the entire house of his presence with a mere meow ran through his mind. "Where’d you find the collar?"
"I know right. He's so adorable." She looked away and then back at him, nodding. "I guess, no one has came to collect him or take him away from me yet." She shrugged. "Haven't you noticed anything different from the neighbor's dog." She chuckled.
Um, yeah, me.
Oh hey sorry I didn't see you there. I uh didn't scare you did I?
