I feel like I'm doing this every other month lol. But for some unexplained reason Harringrove authors on A03 are deleting their works in droves.

As an avid Harringrove fan I would like to ask you to please, please, please orphan or anonymise your works instead of delating them fully. I understand as an author that it's you're right to delete your own works for what ever reason. But it absolutely sucks to ho into your bookmarks and find your comfort fic suddenly gone.

Now to the PSA part

A03 has the option for you to orphan and anonymise fics

People need to stop getting on their high horses and harass people into feeling like they need to delete works

Ship and let fucking people shit what ever they wish

Archive of Owens Own is an Archive! They don't tell people to delete their works for writing about your favorite ships. They protect your right to ship them

Don't engage with things that you personally don't like. Don't like a certain ship or subject matter, just don't read it. Don't go an harass the author. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read a fic about Billy and Steve living their live.
