Hi, I'm @smilerua

I'm posting this to explain what happened to my Tumblr account recently.

Someone messaged me saying they "accidentally reported my account," even claiming they'd reported it 69 times and that I might get an IP ban. They then directed me to contact "support" via Discord/WhatsApp to resolve the issue.

After investigating, I realized this is a fairly common scam:

There's no such thing as reporting someone by mistake multiple times.

Official Tumblr support doesn't work via Discord or WhatsApp.

Requesting me to log out or uninstall the app is suspicious.

But I did following following instructions from those accounts. (My bad)

So now I'll just accept that my account is gone

If anyone encounters a similar situation, please be careful and don't follow instructions from my old account @smilerua or anything its say

My moots @haruka636 << this their new account —unfortunately got their tumblr account hacked so if ever you got a message from their account or mine or someone else, please don't engage. That is not them.

Do not contact whatever number or link the scammer/hacker give you nor give any details or info about whatever.
