I did this for fun
Edrolf thingy
(My first time posting ship art so kinda nervous)
Original post:
Sometimes I wonder if Andy Muschietti watched Ed, Edd, N’ Eddy and saw Marie Kanker and was like, “Yep, this will by my Patrick Hockstetter now.” Maybe I’m too weird (or just simply autistic) because I love comparing characters from IT to other characters from media that I really adore but come fucking on. LOOK AT THEM. He looks like (at least to me) a Edd x Marie fankid. Like, he got all of his.. personality and “quirks” from his mom (Marie) and some of his looks and interests from his father (Edd) then again idk. I just see a shit ton of similarities (at least in the Andy Muschietti adaptations) between patrick and Marie.
(P.s. I do know that this wouldn’t make sense since Ed, Edd, N’ Eddy is set in the late 90’s - Late 2000’ while IT is set in 1989, but I just made this for fun. It’s not supposed to make sense but only to me and maybe to some people I don’t fucking know.)
In 2001, Cartoon Orbit "hosted" the first-ever Betty Awards, where orbiters could vote for the movie of the year with collectible poster cToons. Each poster spoofed a 2000 film, replacing the stars with Cartoon Network characters.
Was this where the eene E.D. (E.T. spoof) poster image came from? It was so long ago, but I had printed it out as a kid and had it pinned it to my wall for YEARS.
It's really cool to get context for it. 2001... I would've been turning 5 years old back then. I know I had printed it out before 3rd grade. I got in huge trouble from my dad for wasting the printer ink, but it was worth it. I stared at that thing for hours.
I think I still have the battered print stored somewhere at my parent's.
Found it!
It doesn't have all the extra stuff that the ones above have, so I wonder if this came from another event, or if I printed out a "clean" version of it.
If anyone has this image file, hit me up. I'd love to print it out again on some nice paper for the nostalgia!
Drunk Ragatha & Pomni dancer 2!!!
this is so bad but i permanently cropped the file so brutally that i can no longer edit it. whoops! also panels 4-7 were fully coloured but it looks better without for some reason. pomni (penny?) is such an ugly crier. i love my horrible failgirl accountant
