Happy March 1st, everyone! The contributor applications have officially closed, and results will be sent out via email on March 15th. As something to tide you over, here are the results of our interest check!
We had 70 responses in total and a majority of you were 5-star interested in the zine!
Our project will be a charity one with all profits after contributors receive a full bundle/shipping going to the Ukrainian Hospitallers.
So many of you were excited not only to buy the zine but to create for it as well! We received many amazing applications and can't wait to go through them all!
By far the main bundle preference is dominated by the full bundle!
The top physical zine book price was $20 USD followed closely by $30. $30-40 USD range was the top physical merch price selected then tied with $20-30 and $40-50.
Here are the total results of the merch items and then the top and bottom five. Top 5 results: sticker sheets, couple keychains, artprints/postcards, diecut stickers, and enamel pin. Rest assured, you just might get your Top 5 😉

Pretty much anything! Fanart, fics, edits, AMVs, headcanon/meta posts etc. As long as it follows our rules.
How literal with these prompts do I have to be?
Interpret them however you like, in whatever kind of AU/scenario, as long as it follows our rules. Make them all G-rated/E-rated, happy/tragic, fluffy/gory, or anything in-between!
Do you allow early/late posting?
Please do not post anything early, the mod will not be checking the tags until the start day of the event, with one exception.
On August 2nd (a month before the event starts) we will have a sneak peek event. Tag any work with #hashimadaweeksneakpeek2026 on Tumblr or Twitter and we’ll reblog it! (You can also @ us too on either platform.) Again, this is 100% optional and if you share a sneak peek, you are not obligated to finish/post the work for the event itself. This is just for fun!
Late posting will be allowed until August 31st, but mods will not be checking the tags everyday.

- No bashing any characters.
- NSFW allowed, but follow Tumblr guidelines on-site (tag properly, read more breaks, cropped, etc. if it applies)
- Hashimada/Madahashi should be the focus of the work. One-sided dynamics are allowed, but Hashirama and Madara should still be the main focus. Otherwise no other ships with these characters and no OT3 with them for this event. Other background ships are allowed.

When asked what they liked most about HashiMada:
I love their mutual obsession with each other, and every point of their life is about and inspired by each other. Hashirama wouldn't be who he is without Madara and Madara wouldn't be who he is without Hashirama. The themes in their relationship, from hope to despair, dreams to nightmares, devotion to consumption, is all very interesting to me. To reach divinity through the flesh of your beloved, their story is the peak of romance.

I’ve always appreciated the childhood aspect where their fondness for each other stood the test of time despite canon. There was always a mutual respect and love that I think was quite subdued but larger than themselves which manifested in Konoha.

I like their childhood friends to lovers (to enemies to lovers again) dynamic and the love and respect they have for each other. I love imagining (and reading about) them in universes where it didn't end in tragedy, if they would've made a different Konoha, in another lifetime, in another world, where everyone lived and Hashirama and Madara found each other again. That’s what stories are for :)

I like Hashirama and Madara because their lives were bright, their deeds - bold and their relationship - tragic and beautiful. They are perfect example of dual nature of something that can never stand still - it's always moving, always chasing its own second half, and this motion resembles the life itself. It's something that you wholeheartedly wish to fix and reunite and at the same time you understand why it's impossible (which only makes it more beautiful)
