You know what actually destroys me about Dean and Lisa? Dean actually found a normal life. a house a kid doing homework at the table. Someone waiting for him to come home. And Ben… Ben was basically a tiny Dean. Dean slipped into that role so naturally, like maybe he had always been meant to be his dad. Sam spent years trying to escape hunting to build a normal life. But Dean was the one who actually had it. and then the story took it away from him. Sometimes I think the saddest thing about Dean is that he got a glimpse of the life he deserved, and the universe still wouldn’t let him keep it at the end.
