okay I understand what youre getting at with this post and support transfem g as much as the next guy HOWEVER the numbers are like this because we have thousands of fics written before we as a fandom really realized the transfem-ness of it all

this is the trans gerard tag pre and post january 1 2022. look how many more there are in recent years!!! these problems with depictions in fic DO exist however a lot of progress has been made based on these numbers.

frank on the other hand has also had an uptick in trans depictions over the years, I had to do my due diligence on that. this is pre and post janurary 1 2022, with 100 already compared to the 300 totaled from every year before 2022. (this is just the trans frank iero tag, the gender could be anything in these)

the good news is: there has been a crazy uptick in transfem gerard fics over the years, and at this rate I believe it will overtake trans frank fics within a few years. I never thought id see the day rayrard made it on the listed ships, and now its right in the middle with over 1000!
