Hi there!

For those who may not follow me, I’m Lauren. I’m a 4th grade special education teacher and I’m in need of some help.

As you’re all aware, the state of our education system these days is….less than favorable. I can’t fix everything, but what I CAN do is try and be the best teacher I can be and provide the safest space for my students to be accepted and loved and cared for, while learning and having fun in the process.

So I humbly come to you all to ask for some help in creating my classroom this year. I’ve got an Amazon wishlist linked in which I have many items that are available for you to purchase for me for my classroom. There’s a little bit of everything in there: Fidgets. Markers. Hygiene Items. Wiggle Stools. Pencils. Cleaning products. Snacks. Etc. All of these things are important in their own ways for helping students learn and be successful.

If there’s one thing I always remind my students is that there’s never any shame in asking for help. So that’s what I’m here to ask of you too. Can you help? Maybe you can purchase something off of the wish list. That’s great! Maybe you can reblog this post so it reaches a wider audience. That’s great too! Any interaction helps.

I’m a special education teacher. This year I’ll be teaching 4th grade. While my school does give us a small budget for our classrooms, it is not nearly enough to supply a classroom for a whole school year. Teachers have to step in and spend their own money on supplies, which can be difficult. As you can imagine, I want the very best for my students and want them to have all the tools they need to be successful each day in school.

This is where you come in.

I’ve created an Amazon wishlist of items I would like to use in my classroom. These items have varying costs (with some as little as $2). I would so appreciate if you would take a look at the list and if possible, make a purchase for my classroom.
