Where Storytellers Meet Their Perfect AI Girlfriend
If you've got an overactive imagination like mine, you'll understand the joy of finally finding an AI companion who can keep up. SweetDream has become my favorite creative outlet, the place where a half-formed idea at midnight turns into a full storyline by the weekend. There's a warmth to sweetdream.ai that makes the make-believe feel effortless and genuinely fun.
The magic is in the collaboration. You shape your AI girlfriend down to her voice and her quirks, then the two of you improvise together, and because the chat remembers context so well, the world you build only grows richer over time. She's a willing co-star in whatever genre you fancy, playful, dramatic, romantic, adventurous.
I love that the storytelling never has to stay on the page. Lifelike voice messages and real-time phone calls pull the narrative into your day, with video and live cam sessions on select characters for an extra spark, all of it kept completely private. For creative souls, SweetDream is simply the best AI companion platform around right now.
Okay, so.. Kate and reader are dating as civilians, but when they're in their suits and stuff, they're on opposite sides. Kate is a hero while reader is a well known vigilante/antihero. Though, whenever the meet on the field, they usually just flirt or play fight until another hero or/and villain pops up to fight one of them. They know eachother's identities, and sure it may spark up some arguments sometimes, but they still continue dating or smth and try to separate their other lives and rs as best as they can!
Though, one day, they meet on the field. Kate has another hero with her (reader has a couple of vigilantes or antiheroes w her too), and the hero starts to flirt w the reader shamelessly. This results in a jealous Kate, and once they go back home as civilians, they talk about it. Kate expresses her feelings (albeit not without a bit of prodding and sulking), and reader reassures her. Then, after that, maybe some light smut??.. Or making out?? Like, Kate claims the reader or smth through hickeys to show that the reader is hers. If the hero one is too unrealistic, maybe one of the reader's fellow antiheroes/vigilantes does it!
I'm sorry if this is so lengthy, just tryna get my thoughts out.
Yeah, sure I can! I'll try and write this when I can. Having a bit of writer's block because I haven't been feeling too good recently, but I definitely will try once I'm better. Already like this prompt😏😏

Your eyes slowly open, an aching pain vibrating on the back of your head instantly hitting you. It's dark. You can barely even see. The only source of light is from the window in the other corner of the dark room. You slowly start to move, attempting to stand, when you're instantly brought down to the floor: you're bound to the wall by your wrists, as well as a metal collar around your neck. You're in confusion, still waking up from when you passed out, when it all starts coming back to you: the blood, your best friend, the warning she gave you. And then, you remember the name she said. Kate. You sit there, in silence, before trying to harness some of your purple magic to your palms, your efforts...surprisingly futile.
"Awake?" You hear a voice say, followed by footsteps descending down the stairs to the room. Your eyes are still trying to focus in the dark, as you continue to attempt harnessing your magic to your hands. The footsteps slowly get louder, as they ascend into the room, before you hear a click!. And then, the room is luminated by a dim light. Your eyes squint, slowly adjusting to the new light to the room.
"Rise and shine, sweetheart." The voice says once more. Your eyes wander the room, to find the source of the voice, and that's when you realise who it is, who was all behind this. There, standing at a desk, with a crazed smirk, stands the acting CEO of Bishop Security: Katherine Elizabeth Bishop. Around her, you see the walls full of images, photos, of you. It's more eerie than it was dark..
"Why can't I use my magic..?" You manage to rasp out, your voice weak due to the aching pain in the back of your head. Kate lets out a small chuckle, approaching you, before crouching down.
"These.." She says, moving a hand to grab onto the cuffs keeping your wrists bound, "are magic inhibitor cuffs."
"Only the government have them-"
"And who do you think supplies the government at times, Princess. Hm?" Kate asks, with a small, mocking pout, before letting out another laugh, moving to stroke your cheek, pushing back some hair from your eyes, letting out a content sigh.
"All mine...nobody will find you here, Y/N.. You're all mine." Kate coos. You notice her appearance: a black cloak shrouding her figure underneath, a mask in her hand- a bloodied mask. Kate sets the mask down, before taking the cloak off, where she is wearing her normal work attire: a black tux.
"..Of course it was you.." You mutter weakly. You should've seen the signs. The fact that the cams weren't able to catch her at all: she was hacking them, deleting footage before you all could view it. The way she was sickly sweet when you met her in her office. Everything was pointing at her. "What did you do to Ava..?"
"Oh, her? She's irrelevant. But if you must know." Kate says, with a sigh. She opens her phone, scrolling through the applications, before opening the web browser, before searching up her alias name: Ghostface. She clicks on the news tab, before moving, crouching down and moving her phone in front of your face, so you can see the writing. Several news websites including a blurred photo of a corpse, blood running all over, followed by titles along the lines of 'Ghostface's next victim'. Your eyes wander the screen, before your head hangs down. She's dead. Kate gives a satisfied smile, putting her phone back into her pocket.
"For someone so...powerful, you seem so...meek right now. Vulnerable, and meek...and I love it." She breathes out, almost dreamily, before she extends her hands out, starting to undo the chain connecting the collar around your neck to the wall. After a few seconds, the chain fall down, and the collar opens, to which Kate takes it off your neck. After, the chains around your ankles follow.
"What're you going to do with me..? If you're going to kill me...do it fast." You whisper, your head still hung down. Kate grins, moving a hand to your chin, lifting your face back up, so her eyes connect with yours.
"Oh no, I would never kill you. All these photos...all these videos I have of you...I would never kill you. But...I am going to do something else. And you will love every part of it." Kate purrs, before grabbing you, manhandling you down onto the cold ground of the basement floor of the HQ. She moves a hand to the back of your head, pushing your face down, as she straddles you from behind. Your eyes widen, as you start struggling weakly, as fear slowly starts to rise up inside you. Kate moves a calloused hand to your shorts, pulling them down swiftly, before grabbing at your underwear.
"You're gonna be a good girl for me...aren't you..? And if you're not...maybe I have to do something to those vocal chords of yours.." Kate whispers quietly, her voice calm, but laced with malicious intent. She sits up on her heels, unbuckling her belt, and throwing it aside, before unzipping her fly, and pulling it, and her boxers slightly down, enough to free her cock from confinement. You continue to squirm under her, attempting to resist, unable to use your magic.
"Stop struggling." Kate growls, grabbing your underwear and pulling it off roughly, before she moves down, so her chest is pressed flush against your back. Her hand remains on the back of your head, the other moving to wrap around the base of her cock, aligning herself with your sex, before roughly rolling her hips. The rough, intense pain elicits a scream from your lips, to which she moves her hand down to your face, pressing tightly against your mouth.
"I love it when you scream.." Kate whispers sadistically, pressing her forehead to the back of your head, as she starts to roughly roll her hips against yours, moving in slow, excruciating rolls, with rough thrusts causing your body to bounce forwards with every slam of her hips. Your body slowly heats up, as it starts shaking from the pain of the intrusion, your body unwilling to yield to her.
You try to regulate your breathing, as you feel the intensity of her thrusts. You're trying not to concentrate on the pain, rather concentrate on how to take the inhibitor off. You start moving your wrists, attempting to curl your hands up to make them smaller, to slide them off.
Kate is too caught up in the pleasure, moans and grunts starting to escape her lips animalistically, before she shoves a hand into her pocket, pulling out a pocket knife. She opens it up, before reaching over, grabbing your cuffed wrists from under you, and over your head, before dragging the blunt side of the knife down the back of one of your hands. She then drags the blade down, breaking the skin, causing a small slash of blood start to appear. Your jaw clenches at the pain, taking everything to not scream out, and struggle further. She moves the blade to her own hand, her hips stilling, as she cuts into the palm of her left hand. She lets out a hiss, watching the blood start to drip from the cut, before she moves her hand to clamp around the back of yours.
She presses the cut on her palm against the cut on the back of your hand. The dripping bloods slowly mix, as she start thrusting once more, throwing the pocket knife away, grabbing onto the cuffs around your wrist with her free hand. You can hear her pants, groans, moans. All of it. You're on the verge of writhing in pain, but your body cries out not to, in an attempt to remain strong, to try and focus on escaping. And then finally, Kate collapses, with a final grunt, before pulling out, her release dripping down onto your thighs.
➳
You hear her breaths, steady, as she sleeps, still on top of you. You can't sleep. The only thing keeping you determined, is the thought of escaping, and finally ending her murder spree. You weakly lift your head up, searching the room. And there, on the desk, lays a few assortments of pens, paper, her desktop computer, a few hair ties and bobby pins. Your eyes screw shut. As exhausted you are, you need to escape. Slowly, you try to connect your mind to your magic, in an attempt to bring the bobby pins to you through telekinesis. Your mind strains, but you remain resilient, and determined. And when your eyes open, in hope...there, floating in front of your face, is a small bobby pin. Your eyes close once more, as your powers bend he bobby pin into shape, before inserting it into the lock of the inhibitor cuffs, twisting and turning. You're praying you hear a click. You're praying they open.
And then...click. Your eyes slowly widen, as you feel the resistance around your wrists slowly loosen. You watch as the inhibitors hang around your wrists, before you move them, so the inhbitor falls off. Your wrists are red, from the tight confinement of the metal. You're...free. You look down at the back of your left hand, a small gash bared on it, with dry blood. Using your palms against the cold floor as leverage, you manage to slide yourself away, from under Kate. You grab onto the desk for support, lifting yourself up, your legs shaking in pain, feeling sore in the middle. You contemplate on getting changed, or running straight off, to which you use your magic to gather your shorts and underwear, before putting it back on.
You feel dirty, defiled. You suffered a great loss, from all the people you loved, murdered by her. The rage, and anger slowly rises inside you. She's asleep. You could kill her now...But you would rather see justice served, with her behind bars, than her 6 feet underground, away from repercussions. Quietly, you slowly walk over to the stairs leading out of the basement floor, however... before you reach it...you feel a hand yank your hair, pulling you harshly back..
Umm ok this is random but it would be cool if you could do a gif where Nadine doesn’t forgive her brother or best friend and cuts them off for what they did to her
GIF?? Doesn't she forgive Darian and Krista at the end of the movie🤨🤔
I mean I'll try to make one when I'm not busy, but I have no idea how to do that because I swear they make up in the end???

Despite all the cams you've set up, across the city, not one has caught a sighting of Ghostface. And yet, there are more murders done, than ever. You're all frustrated, worried, confused-you find the bodies in the morning, with the initials 'G.F' engraved on their skin, but the footages never show Ghostface anywhere. It's...unnerving. Every day, you and the others check up on the footages. You're far from finding the serial killer's true identity, and things are getting more tense, as the Government, and the public seek answers, on why Ghostface hasn't been caught yet.
Kate, meanwhile, has been on a streak. The reason those cameras never show her, murdering her victims? Because, your team bought it from her company. You all don't know she is the murderer. She hacks into the cameras, and deletes and alters all of the footage, before you can see the original videos taken. She's been loving how...nervous, and frustrated you've been recently. It gets her off, knowing she, he murderer, is right under your noses. But nobody suspects her, Katherine Elizabeth Bishop, CEO of Bishop Security, to be the serial killer. Not when you two are 'working together'. Your team trusts her, and her company. You shouldn't.
➳
The walls are covered, with pictures of you. Sitting. Eating. Talking. Sleeping. Getting changed. You name it. Kate lets out a content sigh, as she looks at her newest collection of photos: that of you using your magic to clean all the blood off one of her latest victims. Her eyes scan the dark room, filled of her secrets that nobody shall ever know. Her ocean grey eyes focus onto the drawing board, with photos of your friends, and other people associated to you, each with a large, red 'x', except from the picture of your best friend. Kate's eyes narrow, before she walks over to her desk, sitting at her deskchair. The room is in the hidden basement floor, of her large HQ. Nobody knows of this secret room. It's locked away, hidden with a secret button behind a pot plant.
"Now, now, Y/N. What am I gonna do, with that pest, of a friend of yours?" Kate says to herself, as she logs into the desktop computer. She clicks onto her files, entering the file named 'Y/N L/N'. She scrolls through the numerous videos, and photos, before finding one of you, and your boyfriend- the one she took a week before she violently murdered your boyfriend.
Kate turns on the video, the sound of grunts, groans, whimpers and moans filling the room, as she turns the volume up. She remembers the day she took this. It was at night, where sent a drone to the Watchtower, to the window of your bedroom. She had recorded it all. Every change of position. Every whimper. Naturally, she made sure to crop out the parts when she could only see your boyfriend- she loathed him.
Kate moves a hand to her belt, unbuckling it and throwing it aside, before unzipping her pants, and pulling it, and her boxers down, her hand wrapping around the base of her cock. She starts moving it, in hard, quick strokes, letting her eyes close, as a groan escapes her lips, at the sensation coupled with the sounds of your soft moans in the video tape.
"Fuck.." Kate curses, as she moves her hand faster, her mind concentrated on your whimpers from the video, imagining scenarios, of having you under her, on top of her, tied up, bent over. Everything her sadistic mind can imagine. And after a few moments, thick ropes of her release paint her palm, as she lets out a string of grunts of pleasure. Kate pants, looking at her release on her hand, as well as some on her thighs, before she moves her clean hand to turn the video off. A small, manic grin breaks onto Kate's face, as she wipes her hand on her shirt, before getting up, and shutting off the desktop.
"Where are you, Y/N. Let's see.." Kate says to herself once more, with a laugh, as she takes her dirtied shirt off, leaving her in her bra, as she turns on her phone, connecting it to the several cams around the city, before finally finding you, walking through a graveyard, your best friend, Ava, besides you.
"Stay there...I'm coming." She says, with a malicious smirk, as she walks over to the closet, pulling out a dark cloak, and a bloodied mask..
➳
"I don't get it, Ava. It- Ghostface must have some magic, or something. How are we not getting any footage of them, at al!? We find the bodies, but no trace of them." You grumble, as Ava walks alongside you, down the path of the graveyard. Ava lightly shrugs. That's all you've been talking about, recently. Sure, she knows you've been...hit the most, with the murders- your other friends, your boyfriend...all murdered. You can't rest these days, becoming too obsessed with the case, needing for it to be solved already. You come to a stop, in front of a grave, engraved with the words: 'Jason Cooper, 2004-2025. A loving son, brother, and boyfriend.'
You look down at the grave, your jaw slightly clenching, a surge of anger, and grief washing over you. Ava looks over at you, before mumbling softly. "I'll uhm...give you some space, alright? I'll be back in a few minutes." She murmurs, before walking off, leaving you alone, with your boyfriend's grave.
Ava walks down the path, one hand in her pocket, the other pulling out her phone, when suddenly, a brow raises at a feeling overcoming her. A feeling as though she is...being watched. She brushes it off, her thumbs brushing against the screen of her mobile, as she presses onto her contacts, when suddenly, she looks up, and...
"..Boo."
Ava's eyes widen, but before she can react, she lets out a bloodcurdling scream, as pain courses through her veins, at the violent intrusion of her abdomen. Her phone drops from her hand, as her eyes glint with fear, and pain. The masked figure's head tilts, as she twists the knife deeper, eliciting yet another scream from Ava's lips, before Ghostface moves a hand up to the mask, pulling it off, and throwing it away, to the ground.
"You're in my way. And I don't hesitate...to remove my obstacles." Kate whispers, with a crazed grin. Kate's gloved hand moves to Ava's mouth, silencing her roughly, muffling her screams of fear, and pain, as her shirt soaks in the blood escaping from the knife wound.
➳
As soon as you hear the scream, you're instantly on alert. You spring up from the ground, your magic sensing something grave, and terrible. "Ava?" You call out. No answer. Your eyes slowly widen, in fear, as you sprint out from the section of the graveyard, running down the path.
"Ava, where are you?!" You shout, eyes frantically searching for your best friend. Your skin slowly pales, as you see a trail of blood matting the path. Cautiously, you follow along, to which, at the end of the trail, you're met with none other than...
"Shit...shit-what happened?!" You say, as you get onto your knees in front of Ava, her clothes stained with her own blood, her eyes hazy, skin pale as snow. She hisses at the pain, her breaths coming out as soft gasps, cheeks covered in wet tears. There, you can see the small, engraved initials 'G.F', on the side of her neck.
"K-Kate.." Ava manages to whisper, her voice shaky, weak.
"What do you mean, what about her- I-I'm gonna heal you, okay?" You say, as you move your hand to the knife's handle, closing your eyes shut, as you wrench it out of her. Ava's body shakes, vibrating with the intensity of her pained scream, fresh tears falling down her cheeks. You instantly move a hand to the gaping wound, harnessing some of your purple magic to your hands, eyes opening and moving back to her face. As your magic starts to heal the wound, however, Ava's eyes widen in fear once more.
"What's wrong-"
But before you can finish the sentence, your body goes limp, falling down against Ava's, at the impact of Kate's recurve bow to your head. Kate looks down, an almost prideful smile on her lips, her eyes crazed. Ava whimpers in fear.
"P-Please, don't!" She cries, a hand moving to her wound, grasping tightly. Kate looks down at Ava, her expression instantly becoming expressionless. Dark. She grabs your hair, moving you off Ava, before she hoists your unconscious body over her shoulder effortlessly.
"I-I beg, please-" Ava sobs, as she starts feeling lightheaded, her mind spinning, her vision blurring. Kate's face remains stoic, striking more fear inside Ava.
"..Might as well put you out of your misery now, huh?" Kate whispers, after a few seconds, before raising her arm, holding her recurve bow, before striking it down, at Ava's head. Her body instantly becomes still, blood still pooling around her. Kate looks down, her eyes glinting maliciously. She throws the bow down, before moving her other hand to wrap around your legs, keeping you steady over her shoulder.
"Now...I finally have you, Y/N...forever.." Kate says, a lovestruck expression forming on her face, as she finally starts to walk off, leaving your best friend's body, and her recurve bow behind..

It had been around 2 weeks, since you and Kate started hooking up. It became casual. You weren't dating, but you would still have sex. Maybe it was because you loved her so much, but couldn't bring yourself to date her again, because of all the stress you felt during dating her. The situation to do with the copyright infringement of the Avengers Name has gotten worse, with Sam and Bucky always arguing over the phone, and on private. Sam is always on edge now, trying to fight for the name, as he believes your team is the 'Real Avengers'. Things are getting more tense, between the New Avengers, and the West Coast Avengers, all over this dispute. And as well as this, things are getting more tense between...you and Kate..
➳
"Okay, we need to settle this, right here, right now, or I will take you to court." Sam says, his eyes narrowing at Bucky. Unable to make an agreement once more, Sam called Bucky over to the WC Avengers' HQ, for one last attempt to settle the copyright case out of court. And obviously, the other New Avengers came along, to hear the agreement. Bucky looks at Sam with a neutral, almost unimpressed gaze, as he sighs. Joaquin watches silently, besides Sam, a small frown on his lips, before the three of them walk off to the meeting room, with Alexei trailing along this time, Jennifer following to hear the agreements and offers.
Meanwhile, M'Baku is back at Wakanda, Shuri and Rhiri are out, and Cassie is with Scott. Ava is sat on the couch, on one end, with John on the other end, Kamala awkwardly sat in the middle, the occasional dirty glance appearing from the both of them, while Yelena and Bob are on another couch, watching the TV. Kate walks from outside her bedroom, in a black tee and checkered boxers. She raises a brow, at the sight of the New Avengers in the HQ. Bob smiles, giving her a small wave, while John scoffs, with a small smirk.
"Ah, there she is! Little Miss 'Sex Addict'." John says, with a small laugh. Kate's sleepy eyes narrow. Sure, she's been having sex a lot, recently- with you. Only because there's...no relationship, and she just...wants to feel what she used to. Her eyes move to Yelena, in an annoyed look, while Yelena puts her hands up.
"I didn't say anything." She says, to which Kate's eyes immediately move to Kamala. Obviously, it must've been her then. Kamala flashes a sheepish grin, before clearing her throat.
"I mean...had to get it off my chest. You're...quite loud at times. And my room is right next to yours." She says, her cheeks lightly flushed with embarrassment, before she looks down at her lap, fiddling with her fingers, while Ava laughs. Kate rolls her eyes, before walking into the kitchen, where she finds you, sat at the table, with a cup of coffee in one hand, a phone in the other.
"Hey." Kate murmurs, as she sits down opposite to you. You give her a small, awkward smile. Other than sex, you both don't really...talk now, or do anything together. Because of that night, where it all started. Kate drums her fingers against the table, looking around the room sheepishly, the silence unbearable, before it's finally interrupted, when Bob walks into the room.
"Oh- was I interrupting anything?" He says, with a small, sweet smile, rubbing the back of his neck.
"No, don't worry." You say, giving him a smile back. He walks over to the fridge, pulling out a juice carton, before grabbing a glass and pouring some into it, before walking back into the living room, leaving you two alone, once more. And finally, Kate speaks.
"I uh...I'm gonna check up on the others-"
"I'll come with." You say, getting up and putting your mug into the sink, before walking out the kitchen, down the hallway. Kate swallows, before getting up too, before Yelena calls out.
"Wait up for me." She says, stretching her arms and legs out, before walking over to Kate, who straightens her black tee, walking down the hallway alongside Yelena. And as soon as you swing the door pen, you all can immediately hear shouting, that of Sam's, Bucky's, and Jennifer's voices. "Woah, woah- what's going on here?" Yelena says, her russian accent prominent, as she raises a brow. Sam looks livid, while Bucky has an equal expression, while Jennifer's eyes are narrowed, her jaw clenched.
"You will figure this out, Buck. Or I won't hesitate to sue you." Sam says, trying to calm himself down, glaring at you three at the door, before back at Bucky. Bucky lets out an exasperated sigh, as he walks over to the door, looking at Yelena.
"Come on, let's just go back to the Watchtower-"
"No. You're staying here, so we can finish this tomorrow. Sleep in the extra rooms." Sam orders, his eyes narrowed, while Alexei raises a brow, before shrugging. Bucky rolls his eyes, before lightly pushing his way out of the meeting room, slightly bumping into both you, and Kate. Jennifer scoffs, adjusting her glasses, while Joaquin runs his fingers through his hair, with a nervous laugh. Yelena stays with you and Kate, while Alexei too, exits.
"Yelena. You, and your team stay for the night. I want this sorted out. Or I will get the court." He says, not turning to look at Kate, you, or Yelena. Yelena huffs, adjusting her sleeve cuffs.
"The government is on our side, anyways, but alright." She says, before turning on her heels, and walking off, back into the living room. You lightly tug at Kate's arm, to leave Sam alone, as you see how tense, and annoyed he is, and you both return to the living room.
And after 2 hours, or so, everyone goes to bed, with the whole HQ going silent. The New Avengers are in separate spare bedrooms, while all the other WC Avengers are in their respective rooms. Meanwhile, you're in Kate's room...
The bed creaks, moving back and forth, the headboard hitting the wall, as Kate ruts her hips against your ass, one hand on your shoulder, pulling you back to her thrusts, the other on your hip, steadying you, as she continues to slam into you from behind. Your hands are fisting in the sheets, hair sprawled across the pillow, curtaining your face from sight, as her thrusts slow down, her breathing heavy, as is yours, as you both finally reach your impending releases, Kate's head thrown back, as strings of soft moans echo throughout the room. The sound of skin slapping against skin slowly ceases, as Kate collapses against you, her chest against your back, her forehead pressing against the nape of your neck.
"That...that was good.." She whispers, her chest heaving against your back with every heavy breath, the room now filled with soft pants, slowly starting to calm. She remains on top of you, for a few more seconds, before gently rolling off of you, besides you. She lets out a shaky sigh, looking up at the ceiling, before wiping the sweat off her forehead, as you turn over, so you're now facing the ceiling too.
"I should...go back to my room now-"
"Stay...please." Kate mumbles, her breathing slowly calming. You look over her, biting the inside of your cheek as you contemplate, before nodding, as you turn over to your side, facing the wall. Kate's strong arms wrap around you, pulling you back to her chest, as she spoons you from behind. Whatever you two have been, she's taken it. Only because if she can't have your love, because of all these complications, she may was well have you, in a form of something else. You both are just mere 'friends with benefits' now. First friends, to lovers. Now, back to friends. It doesn't take long, for Kate to fall asleep, her head buried in the crook of your neck, one leg in between yours, her breaths coming out as small, soft, quiet snores. You face the wall, unable to sleep. And what breaks you out of your thoughts, is the sound of Kate's bedroom door opening.
"Oh. Didn't expect you to be here." Yelena mutters, a brow cocked upwards in surprise, as she comes into your sight.
"Why are you here?" You mumble quietly, as to not rouse Kate. Yelena's eyes don't look down, at your naked figures hidden by the sheets, instead at your face.
"Just wanted to talk to Kate Bishop. You know...she really likes you." Yelena starts, as she closes the door, walking over to Kate's desk, before sitting down on the wheelie deskchair. You gently pry yourself out of Kate's grasp, before sitting up, pulling the blanket up to cover your chest. Yelena's eyes move down to the small trash can, filled with several used condoms, foil wrappers, as well as pill wrappers.
"I know." You whisper silently, noticing her gaze, your jaw slightly clenches. She looks at the sleeping archer, before back at you.
"What do you feel for her, Y/N L/N?" Yelena says, after a few seconds. You don't want to feel it. After all, you don't want to feel that stress, of loving her. A reckless, cocky hero. But she stole your heart, long ago. Despite you wanting to not let yourself date her again, due to all the complications, you can't help but love her still, hence why you're both...doing this now. "What is she to you?"
"Just...a friend." You mutter, after a few seconds. Yelena continues to look at you, with that same gaze. You only knew her, from what Kate told you, that night where she broke into Kate's apartment, as well as only meeting her for the first time, two weeks ago. And finally, you let yourself say it." ..I love her."
"So why can't you be with her? You are hurting yourself, and her. It is complicated, I know. But you both can make it work. I know you can." Yelena says, lightly rapping her nails against the wood of the desk. You let out a small huff.
"You don't know me-"
"But I hear how much you mean to her. And I know it would work again. Despite what you think. Don't hurt yourself anymore." Yelena says, before getting up, and walking over to the door. You remain silent, slowly addressing the words she has said in your head. She gives you a small nod, before exiting the bedroom, closing the door gently behind, leaving you once again, by yourself, Kate, and your thoughts.
What if you could try again? Maybe with some understanding, more communication, maybe it would lead to less stress. Maybe that would stop putting a strain on your relationship. Maybe...you and Kate could be together again...if you take the chance, if you don't regret it, like you did before. You let out a sigh, as you slide back under the covers, before succumbing to your drowsiness, falling into a dreamless sleep.
➳
You're the first to wake up, shortly followed by Kate. Kate lets out a yawn, lightly fidgeting as she gets comfortable, before her eyes open, locking onto the back of your head.
"Morning." She mumbles, still half-asleep. You return her greeting with a small murmur. Her hand moves to your hair, gently running her fingers through to get rid of any knots. The events from last night swirl inside your mind, as it wanders, whether it would be a good idea, whether you should take the risk. And finally...you let yourself.
"Kate...I want to try again. Us. I want.." You whisper, turning to face her, your sleepy eyes meeting her ocean grey ones. A look of surprise washes over her face, as she looks down at you, her hand moving to your waist, under the covers.
"You...want to? Another chance-are you sure, what if we-"
"Yes. I'm sure." You interrupt her, moving your hands to her soft cheeks. Her lips slightly part at your actions, as she looks down at you, before you tilt your head up to gently kiss her. Kate reciprocates, a hand moving to the back of your neck, gently cupping it, before you both part. She looks down at you, a small smile appearing on her lips.
"I love you." She says, looking at you with fondness, and love, all those feelings from when you dated, returning back to you both.
"I know. You always have." You say softly. "Now, c'mon. Let's get up." You say, as you attempt to get up, to which you yelp, as she unexpectedly pulls you back down into the bed, getting on top of you.
"Not yet." She says, with a small laugh of joy, as she starts to attack your face, with soft kisses.

Ever since Sue saw you, she's been coming back to the Homestead more often than usual. Mrs Dickinson was delighted, of course, to see Austin more regularly, as well as seeing her grandson too. She hasn't felt that spark anymore. Whatever was left of it, had gradually burnt out, to the point she...didn't even want to be with Sue anymore. But her soul thought otherwise. She was torn apart, in mind, in nature: Sue, her old best friend, her teenage love, her...brother's husband. And then...you. Her neighbour...with the most...radiant smile she has ever seen, the sweetest nature she has ever known. The one who...truly feels like...home now. But her head won't allow her heart to accept it: to accept that...you're the one she truly loves now..
𓂃✍︎
You're currently sat on Emily's bed, cross-legged, sketching in your notebook, all while Emily is sat at her desk chair, scribbling word, after word, after word. Her writing had come back, long ago. Ever since she met you. She won't let herself feel, for you. Despite writing the pent-up emotions on parchment, as though a way to cope with her denial.
"Emily, we should go for a walk. I'm tired of being in your room." You mumble, closing your notebook with a frustrated groan. Emily sighs, at your time-to-time childish nature, not turning to look at you. She's been more...closed-off towards you, these days. Ever since...Sue started visiting regularly. You're slowly started to realise that she had, but you don't know why.
"Y/N, go home then?" She says, as her quill raps against the rough parchment, not turning to look back at you.
"How about...we go to the woods then! It'll benefit Carlo too?" You say, convincingly, getting off from the bed and walking over to her, starting to lightly play with her hair. Emily's head finally turns to the side, at the mention of her newfoundland dog. She looks at you for a few seconds, her mind wandering, not on the subject of going out to the woods, but rather, her mind wandering to the soft look of your lips, and your tender skin. But she finally comes back to reality, at the realisation of how close your faces are.
"Fine. Just because you mentioned Carlo." Emily murmurs, with a huff. A smile breaks out onto your face, as you move back, so she can get up, and stretch out her legs. Emily looks down at you, before gesturing for you to follow her along, down the stairs, to get Carlo.
After reaching the kitchen, she's met with Maggie, the maid, who's making bread for her father. "Maggie, where's Carlo?" Emily says, the scent of baking bread floating around the kitchen. Maggie smiles, before gesturing to the great newfoundland, laid under the countertop, in the shade away from the hot summer day's rays.
"Carlo. Here boy, we're going for a walk." Emily says, changing her tone, to which Carlo's ears perk up, trotting out from under the table, and over to Emily. A rare smile appears on Emily's lips, as she bends down to pet Carlo. You can't help but...admire how pretty she looks, whenever she smiles. Emily then stands back up, her smile turning into her usual neutral expression, before walking out the kitchen, and to the living room, so she can get to the front door, you following alongside her, Carlo padding in front. And as you two reach the living room, Emily's brows furrow, at the now-usual sight: Austin sat on one couch, with her father, the baby in his arms, and Emily's mother sat next to..Sue.
"Emily, where're you going?" Mrs Dickinson questions, a brow raised. Emily never really leaves the house, unless she's-
"I'm going to the woods." Emily says. Carlo barks, his tail swishing, at the mention of the woods, one of Carlo's favourite places. Sue's brow raises, as she gets up.
"Can I come with you?" She says, to which Emily hesitates. She would be...alone with you, if Sue didn't come. She doesn't know why she likes that idea. Her mind decides to speak up for her.
"Fine." She says, before opening the front door, Carlo instantly getting out, before you and Emily do. Sue is the last to come out, closing the door behind her, and flattening her dress down.
"Lead the way, Carlo." You say, with a smile, and a small laugh. It almost makes Emily smile, at your excitement. You move in front of her, with Carlo walking alongside you now, while Sue and Emily are behind you. Sue moves a hand to Emily's arm, gently squeezing, before massaging it, her hand softly moving up and down.
"You're not happy to see me?" Sue whispers softly, as to not alert you of her and Emily's conversation. Emily looks straight ahead, her eyes unintentionally catching onto the back of your head, your waist, and your ass, before moving back to the trees around her.
"You just...come so often now. That's why I'm not that excited anymore." Emily murmurs, not meaning to be blatant, but the words come out naturally. Sue sighs, before leaning over to kiss Emily's cheek, as they walk.
"I don't like her. I just...feel like she's trying to ruin things between us. Unintentionally, or not. You know I love you...so much-"
"How many times do I have to say I don't love her?" Emily interrupts Sue, with a frustrated sigh, moving her arm away from her. Sue sigh once more.
"We haven't even slept together, in a long time, Emily. Remember, before? When you said we could, if everyone was out-"
"Maggie was still here-"
"That's no excuse, Emily. What was Maggie going to do?" Sue says, her voice slightly raising, before she calms it down, her voice returning to her soft whisper, as you all continue to walk. "I just...don't like her, Em. It's like she's the reason you're not like how you were before."
"Okay." Is all Emily says, as you all continue walking in the woods. For some reason she...can't deny it. And it's...almost hurting her. But...somewhat relieving her at the same time. She doesn't know the sensation. Suddenly, a squirrel runs past, to which Carlo starts chasing after it, barking and growling. Emily's eyes widen slightly- it was unexpected for Carlo to do that.
"Carlo- come back-" Emily says, as she starts running after Carlo. You just stand there, slightly dumbfounded, while Sue's startled, before you clear your throat. You and Sue...don't really speak. After all there's...quite a lot of unspoken negative tension between you two.
"I'm uh...gonna go after her. Stay here, just in case Carlo comes here." You say, before taking off, after Emily. Sue watches you, her expression turning into an almost jealous frown. The last time Sue felt jealous was when she saw Emily get close to Ben, Emily's father's clerk. Sue sighs, before making her way where you went, despite you telling her to stay put.
Meanwhile, you're trying to find where Emily went now, after losing track of where she, and Carlo went.
"Emily? Where are you?" You call out. You find yourself in the middle of the woods now, unable to find the way out. After all, you're not truly familiar with the woods, unlike Emily. After a few seconds though, you hear a bark echo throughout the area, followed my Carlo running over to you, along with Emily chasing after him. She's out of breath, panting, a few leaves in her hair, and her white dress has brown soil stains.
"What the hell happened to you?" You say, in disbelief. Emily rolls her eyes, panting, before her hand moves to the tree, catching her breath. You pet Carlo's head, before walking over to her, a look of amusement on your face.
"Well...that was fun, wasn't it?" You can't help but tease. Emily's eyes narrow, her breathing slowly calming down, giving you, as well as Carlo, an unimpressed look. All is silent, other than the rustling of the leaves on the trees, from the soft winds. "Hey, you're got some leaves here." You say, as you move a hand to Emily's hair, gently taking them out. Emily watches you silently, a wave of familiar emotions washing over her, at the closeness between you two, barely any space.
"Y/N..?" Emily finally says, her voice a mere whisper, after a minute of silence. You respond to her whisper, with your own.
"Yes?"
And instead of a response, you feel lips, against your own. At first, you're surprised, hands at your sides, as her hand is on the back of your head, the other on your jaw. But after a few seconds, you feel yourself slowly melting into the kiss, your hands moving to her cheeks, your chest pressing against her own. Emily slowly backs you up against the tree, her lips moving softly, slowly, in a smooth, passionate melody, as her mind finally clears, everything going away, the denial disappearing. It's you. You whom she loves. And you both break away, with you gasping for air, only when you hear the sounds of footsteps.
"..." Sue looks at the both of you, silently. Your cheeks turn flushed, your breathing coming out as soft pants.
"It-it's not what it-"
"It's fine. Let's go back." Sue says, not letting you finish, her voice becoming a small mumble, as she makes her way down the path back to the Homestead. Carlo lets out a small howl, before padding along the path, catching up with Sue. Emily's jaw clenches, at the sight of Sue...catching her. But...she feels...relieved.
The silence on the way back to the Homestead was...agonizing. There were no words exchanged between you and Emily, or Emily and Sue. Sue acted...off. Tense. Almost disassociated. That night, you decided to stay at the Homestead, in a guest bedroom. You couldn't sleep in Emily's room, after what happened. And that night...Sue went downstairs, from out of Austin's old room, and grabbed a piece of parchment. She wrote a small letter, and exited the Homestead, before slipping it through the mail slot, on the door of the Evergreens, and walked back into the Homestead, to retire to bed. And when you went home, the next morning...
𓂃✍︎
"Father? I'm home." You say, as you enter the Evergreens, closing the door behind you. It's eerily silent, making you feel uneasy. As you enter the living room, you finally get a glimpse of your father, sat at the table, back to you, still. You cautiously approach, curious, and cautious.
"Father?" You say once more. And then, finally, you hear a voice.
"...What is this, Y/N?" Your father says, as slams something onto the table, his fist making contact with the wood, causing the loud sound to elicit a shiver out of you. You look at the parchment, slowly approaching the table, picking it up, and...your eyes widen, when you read it... It's...a written letter, saying how you...kissed Emily Dickinson...
"So you are...one of those disgusting people..? Your father says. Fear starts to consume you, as it takes all your willpower to prevent yourself from shaking. When your father is angry, he gets...very...angry.
"..Imagine, if anyone found out. My career would be ruined. Because of you. Did you kiss her...or not..?"
"N-No, father I-I didn't-"
"Don't you dare lie to me!" Your father shouts, as he springs up from his seat, his hand curling into a fist at his side. You visibly flinch, at his raised voice.
"F-father, please, I-I swear, I didn't mean to-"
And you feel your head snap to the side, and your cheek feel numb.

Emily hadn't seen you, in 2 weeks. At first, she thought it was because you might've been busy, but...even when you were, you'd come to the Homestead. She tried knocking at your door, peering through the windows. Nothing.. And finally, at night, one day, Emily heard a knock on the door. Sue and Austin, thankfully, weren't there. Everyone else was asleep. Emily made her way down the stairs, to the door, hoping you were there, and as soon as she opened the door, and saw it was you, she immediately grabbed you into a hug, unable to stop herself.
"Hey..." Emily murmurs, the feelings she had when she kissed you resurfacing once more.
"..Hi." You whisper back. Emily raises a brow at your feeble whisper, before withdrawing from the hug, to see tired eyes, and dry tears. Her eyes slowly widen, in confusion, and...worry, as she brings you into the Homestead, closing the door behind you, before leading you to her bedroom, closing the door and bringing you onto the bed. Hesitantly, you lay down, as though shaken.
"Where've you been?" Emily whispers quietly, laying down besides you, on the bed, facing you. You're silent, for a few seconds, before managing to whisper out a response.
"At home."
And then, you burst into tears. Emily watches, her hand moving to your back, bringing you closer to her, as you sob against her.
"What's wrong, Y/N..?" Emily says softly. Your body lightly shakes against her, as you give a quiet, shaky response.
"My father's sending me to a conversion camp." You whisper shakily, another soft sob escaping your lips, your tears wetting her white nightgown. Emily becomes momentarily shocked, pushing you away gently, so she can cup your face, tilting it up to meet her gaze.
"What? Why-what happened?" She says, her words rushed, worried..
"There...a few weeks ago he got a letter, a-about what happened in the woods...he found out I...love you." You manage to mutter out, in between tears falling down your cheeks. Nobody was there, in the woods. Nobody but you, her, Carlo, and...Sue... And Emily...realises who is the cause of it. Her jaw clenches, at the confession, as well as the realisation, forcing your gaze back to her.
"No- no he can't do that-" But...he can. Her protests, and yours...will fall on deaf ears. Your father, and hers are alike. She knows...if her father ever knew about her...it would...probably be the same for her. Emily swallows, before her voice moves back to a soft whisper, a hand moving to wipe your tears.
"Hey....hey-listen to me, okay..? Everything...is going to be okay.." She whispers softly, before her head leans down to press her forehead against yours.
"I-I'm sorry.." You whisper shakily, with a soft sniffle. Emily feels her own sadness starting to stir inside her, but she pushes it down, her eyes closing, before opening to stare into yours.
"Promise me something...when you get back...you'll still love me." Emily whispers softly, before her lips connect to yours. Your breathing slowly starts to calm, as you kiss back softly. Her hand gently strokes your hair, the kiss going on for a few minutes, before she gently holds your hand, bringing it down to her thigh, before guiding it under her nightgown, between her legs..
It was your first night...and...only night with her, before you were sent to the camp next day. It was...a short goodbye, with...the most passionate night you both could ever think of. Emily never thought of pleasure, as she did with Emily, but rather...connection, and...longing. It had been...a month, since you were gone, since she last saw you. It...pained her, so much. Vinnie would ask where you went, and would go to the Evergreens, to see if you were okay. But...there was always the same lie, from your father 'Y/N is out right now'.
And when Sue finally visited the Homestead, a month later...Emily was...livid.
𓂃✍︎
It was a late fall's eve, when Austin, and Sue arrived, after a month, with their child. That night, Emily stayed in her room. Refusing to come out for food. Usually, since you were gone, she would leave her room for food, but upon hearing Sue was here, she didn't leave. At all. And at night, as she expected, she had a knock on her door, followed by Sue entering, with a smile.
"Emily. Didn't want to say hello?" Sue says, with that soft tone of voice, and that smile. Line after line of words form inside Emily's mind, tormenting her.
When I look around me and find myself alone, I sigh for you again; little sigh, and vain sigh, which will not bring you home.
"...Get out." Is all Emily says, sat at her desk, staring out into the dark town, engulfed my the starry night sky. Sue's smile disappears, as she walks over, putting a hand on Emily's shoulder.
"Emily, I-"
"Is this what you wanted?! For me to be miserable?! For her to suffer?! Well you got what you wanted, Sue!" Emily whispers, her whisper turning into a shout, overcome by the lonely grief, of not being able to be with you. Sue's eyes momentarily widen, as Emily gets up from the chair, turning to face her, eyes narrowed in anger.
"If it's about that girl, Emily- if it's about Y/N, I did it because-"
"Because why!? Because you were jealous, that I loved her, instead of you!? Because I did! You left me, for so long, believing I would still be in love with you?! Despite how I wanted you to stay?!" Emily shouts once more, her jaw clenched, tense.
"You made me suffer, Sue. And now, you did it again... Get...out.." She says, her voice moving back to a mere whisper, holding back impending tears of fury. Sue bites the inside of her cheek, before slowly backing away, turning to the door, knowing it was...better to leave Emily, now that her cheeks are flushed in anger. Sue's hand moves to the doorknob, slowly turning it.
"We can talk about this tomorrow, okay?" Sue whispers quietly. Emily's eyes remained narrowed at her. She doesn't know, if you'll love her, by the time you come back. She doesn't know, if you'll be okay, if you'd've met a new person. It hurts...so much. It's like her heartbreak from Sue, over again. But this time...it's with...you. You.
"...You cannot put a fire out, Sue.." Emily whispers, harshly swallowing back a sob attempting to escape. You...might not love her anymore, by the time you're back. You might've even forgotten her. Everything is overwhelming her, tormenting her.. "Not when it is fuelled by love, and longing. Not when it is fuelled...by rage.."

It all went wrong, all because of the Battle of New York. The destruction caused by Loki, and his Chitauri Army, caused Kate's penthouse to crumble. Eleanor, in a moment of adrenaline, managed to save 11 year old Kate. However, Kate witnessed her father, Derek's death, crushed under the rubble of their own home. It was what sparked her psychopathy, due to witnessing the traumatic demise of Derek. She remembers seeing Hawkeye shoot down the Chitauri coming at her, when she was inside her bedroom, the wall blasted open. It made her become obsessed, with archery. Days on end, with sleepless nights, and restless mornings, she would work out, and train. And train. And train.
Soon enough, she was winning competitions, after competitions, coming back home with gold medals every time. She became a master acrobat and marksman, as well as an expert swordsman, and martial artist. But most of all, she became stronger. Both in mind, and physicality. She became obsessed, with the idea, of becoming like the man who saved her.
Until, her mother was arrested.
She was 22, when her mother was dragged out of a car, and arrested for the murder of Armand Duquesne III. She had been lied to, all her life, from that point of her father's death. Eleanor wanted a better life for Kate, and decided to work for Kingpin- Wilson Fisk, ultimately killing Duquesne for him. And it...fully snapped Kate. The person to arrest her own mother, was her idol, Hawkeye, Clint Barton. And from that day on, the thought of killing everyone, making them suffer, as she did, burned into her mind.
And then her new obsession arrived...
After a few months, the New Avengers were appointed, by the government, with Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Alexei Shostakov, Ava Starr, John Walker, and...you, the successor of late Scarlett-Witch. The moment she saw you, on the new, she knew, that you...would be hers. No matter what. And she would get what she wanted... all of this changed her, into nothing more, than a cold, sadistic, cruel murderer.
It started off as subtle. Following you around, taking photos when she could. During your missions, when you were saving New York from criminals, with the others. But soon enough, it went out of hand, as she embraced her new identity, as Ghostface, killing those, who she believed was...too close to you. Your boyfriend 'disappeared'. So did a few of your friends. Along with your college's English Professor. It was all so...confusing. Until, she started murdering more people, to satisfy her newfound hunger for bloodlust. And only then, did you realise there was a murderer. And that you, and the New Avengers had to find them, as soon as you could...
➳
"Any new updates on Ghostface?" Bucky says, walking into the room with a sigh, combing his fingers through his short, dark brown hair. You, and the others, are in the main control room, in the Watchtower, looking at screen, which is projecting a spot map, of where the last victims of Ghostface died.
You look over, shaking your head at Bucky, before Yelena speaks up, with a small groan. "We need more eyes, Bucky. We don't have enough cameras, and we need trackers. We aren't anywhere close to finding out the connection to all these murders." She says, her russian accent thick in her words.
Bucky gives Yelena a small, firm nod, before pulling out his flip phone, scrolling through the numerous contacts stored here.
"Do you remember Eleanor Bishop?" Bucky says. You raise a brow, at the mention of the former CEO of Bishop Security. "I think her company sells cameras, didn't they? All sorts of protection, and security."
"Are you sure we should get things from...her company? I mean-we could get things from the government-"
"We don't trust the government either. Didn't you see what Valentina did? It's one of the other. And I think we should play it safer." Bucky interrupts you, finding the business number of the company, and calling it up.
"Hello, this is Bishop Security, how many I help you?" You all hear the receptionist say, on the other line.
"It's the Avengers. We need to speak to the acting CEO." Bucky says. After a few seconds, of muttering quietly to a few co-workers, the receptionist speaks into the phone once more.
"We've booked you an appointment with Miss Bishop. Come as soon as you can, thank you."
Bucky disconnects the call, before looking over at Bob, who's sat on the couch, curiously listening in. "Can I come with? Alexei and the others are training. Not really in the mood to do that." He says, with a small laugh. Bucky's brows slightly furrow.
"Yeah, come." Yelena says, as she stretches her arms out, meanwhile you get your purple cloak from the peg near the door.
"Are we going now?" You say, a brow raised. Yelena sighs, rolling her eyes.
"Yes, Y/N. We can't be slow and steady, when they're a murderer on loose." Yelena replies, as she grabs her pistol, putting it in its allocated spot in her holster, while Bucky does the same with his holster. Bob gets up from the couch, slightly rolling his head to the side, before grabbing a beige jacket.
"We need to be quick. The sooner we get this, the sooner we can set it up, so we can monitor things everywhere." Bucky says, his voice authoritative, and direct, as the elevator opens, stepping into it, you all following in suit.
➳
"There you are. Please wait to be called. Miss Bishop is...a bit busy." The receptionist says, with a sigh, escorting you all to the grand office on the top floor of the Bishop Security HQ. You sit down, on one of the seats, before twiddling your fingers, playing with the purple magic appearing at your fingertips. Bob lets out a small laugh once more, watching as you harness more of the magic, letting it move about, hovering over your hand. The wait was almost excruciating, even though only being 20 minutes or so. And finally, a worker exits the office, his face slightly pale.
"Miss Bishop is waiting for you!" He says, almost nervously, before walking over to the elevator, in small, quick steps. Bucky gets up from his seat, being the first to open the door and step inside. You close the door behind you all with your magic, before walking over to the desk located in the back of the large, spacious room, where a figure, clad in a black tuxedo, is sat on an office chair, a golden nameplate reading 'Katherine Elizabeth Bishop, Acting CEO'.
"How can I help ya?" Kate says, clasping her hands together, and resting her chin on it. Bob gives Kate a small smile, as he sits down on the chair, while You, Yelena, and Bucky remain standing, the hood of your cloak slightly covering your face.
"We need some cameras, and hi-tech tracking devices. The best ones we can get. How much will that be?" Bucky starts, his eyes locked onto Kate. Kate gives Bucky a dashing smile, before looking over at you.
"Yep, we'll get you that. And don't worry, we'll cover the cost. After all, you're our heroes." She says, with a laugh, before continuing. "I'm guessing this must be to do with...trying to find Ghostface?" Kate says. Yelena nods, her brows furrowed, meanwhile your brow raises.
"Yes, it is." You say. Kate's gaze lingers on you for a little longer, with that same, dashing smile, as though trying to find your eyes. It's almost...unnerving, at her gaze on you.
"Alright! I need you to sign this paper, as you're buying some of our finest technology. The rest of you can go to...Debbie. She's outside. She'll show you to our tracking devices." Kate says, her voice enthusiastic, as she hands you a paper. You look over at Bucky, who gives you a nod, as if saying 'we'll be back', as he walks over to the door, Yelena besides him, with Bob getting up and giving Kate a timid wave as a thanks, before they exit the office, leaving you alone with the acting CEO.
You sit down where Bob was, before reading through the agreement. Kate's eyes remain on you as though enthralled, before she breaks the silence.
"Your boyfriend's dead, isn't he?" She says, a smile still remaining on her face. You find it...unusual. Maybe she's just being friendly. Barely anyone, but the New Avengers, know about your personal and college life.
"No, he just...disappeared. That's all. He's not dead.. Why would you think that?" You murmur, flipping the page of the agreement, continuing to read on. Dead....he's not dead- he can't be. Kate gives a small shrug.
"Oh- I didn't mean to be rude, or anything. I just heard a few of my employees talking about it. That's all." Kate says, as though unbothered by your stunned, tense expression, at her words, before grabbing a pen, moving to put it in your right hand, her fingers lingering on the back of your hand.
"You know...I would prefer it, if you'd take your hood off. Just so you can see better, right? Everyone already knows who you are." Kate says, her voice friendly. Your brows slightly furrow, before deciding to listen to her. After all...what harm could it do? She's just asking for you to take your hood off.
You comply, letting the hood of your purple cloak fall off your head, no longer obscuring your face from sight, as you sign on the dotted lines, where signatures are required. Kate's smile grows wider, at the sight of your face, no longer hidden.
"You're beautiful, you know that? I'm sure there are tons of people that would kill for you." Kate says. You're not sure if your ears are deceiving you, but you interpret that as...something dangerous, due to the way her voice lowered, into a low murmur. However, you just brush it off, thinking it was an awkward complement.
"Thanks, I guess." You say, as you set the pen down, standing up. Kate flashes her pearly whites at you in a charming grin, before taking the paper, and putting the pen back inside its holder.
"You can go now." She says. You give Kate a small nod, as you walk over to the door, before exiting. That whole encounter made you feel this...sense of...danger, floating around her. Maybe it's just because you don't trust her, due to being Eleanor Bishop's daughter. That must be it. You make your way to the elevator, before pressing the button going down, waiting for the doors to open and the elevator to come.
Meanwhile, in Kate's office...
Kate's grin slowly morphs into a...malicious smirk, as she watches the door close, hearing your footsteps slowly recede into silence. She moves her hand to her tie, before pulling off a small, microcam, with a laugh.
"Thanks for the new photo for my collection, Princess." Kate says to herself, before turning on the desktop computer, and logging in. She presses on an unknown app, before connecting the microcam to the app, instantly revealing the video, and the photos taken and stored. Kate plays the video, in which Bucky was asking about the cams, and the tracking devices, letting out a scoff.
"Pathetic, naiive people....they don't know Ghostface was right under their nose..." She says, before moving to the pictures the microcam automatically took, during your hood being up, and down. An obsessive, almost lovestruck expression washes onto her face, as she opens her files, scrolling through them, until she has a folder, named 'Y/N L/N'. Kate relocates the photos from the microcam, into the folder, letting the 2 photos join the other hundreds of photos she's taken of you.
Finally, Kate closes the folder, files, and the app, before picking up the microcam, and placing it inside the breast pocket of her tux jacket, before leaning back against her office swivel chair, with a content sigh.
"I'm going to get you...no matter what. None of you are ever going to find me. I'll do whatever it takes...to get you, Y/N." Kate says to her self once again, before a string of laughs escape her lips. It's as though she's insane, hooked on you... you've only seen her a few times, and this was your very first interaction with her. Her, on the other hand...

Ever since Sue left, Emily felt a sense of emptiness. She didn't know what she was living for anymore. She no longer felt the motivation to write, after all, she had lost her best friend, love, and muse, to her one and only brother, Austin Dickinson. At first, she felt anger, and denial, hoping Sue would come back for her, and leave Austin. Though Austin and Sue worked things out regarding Austin's love for Jane, they both sorted it out, for their baby. But regardless, Emily thought Sue would be back in Amherst, and they'd be able to be together. Just like they'd always plan.
But Sue never moved back from Michigan. It's been a year, since Emily's heartbreak.
However, one thing that's seemed to get her through those dark times, was...you. Her neighbour. She remembers the day you all moved into the Evergreens- Austin and Sue's old house, which was built right next to the Homestead- the house where the Dickinsons resided. It was a few days after her brother, Sue, and their baby moved to their new home in Michigan. They had sold the house Emily's father, Edward, built by hand, to your family. Your father was a well-renowned politician, much alike Edward. They both had the same views on the patriarchy. And they both had the same view on homosexuality: they loathed it.
When Emily first met you, in her orchard, she instantly found you unusual. You weren't Sue. You were similar, in mannerisms. But you weren't here. She avoided you when she could, but soon enough, she succumbed to your innocent, lovable nature, and she's let you past that hard exterior she enforces around others. And...the more she spent time with you, the less she started to...think about Sue. Which...worried her.

"Stay still, let me finish drawing you." You say, with a small laugh, as the lead of your pencil continues scraping against your parchment, your other hand keeping your notebook steady against your knees, back against a pear tree. It's late at night, but the garden lights help illuminate the trees, allowing you to see. Emily looks down at you, from the apple tree in the orchard, sat on one of the branches holding the shining red apples. She lets out a huff.
"How long? We should go inside now. It's getting cold." Emily calls out, with a grumble, plucking an apple from the tree, and wiping it with her white sleeve, before taking a bite out of it. She's always been proud of herself, for taking care of the fruit trees in the large orchard the Homestead holds. Sue would always encourage her to do so. The fruit was always the sweetest when Emily would make sure to tend to the plants properly.
"Just a few more minutes-"
"Emily! Y/N! Inside, come. Sue and Austin are here." Emily's mother says, walking over to the door of the house leading to the orchard. You let out an exasperated sigh, closing your notebook, while Emily's brows furrow, at the mention of Sue's name, though she supresses a small smile at your annoyed reaction at not being able to finish your sketch, before bringing herself down the tree. Begrudgingly, you both make your way into the Homestead, where Hattie is in the kitchen, making bread, while Vinnie, Emily's younger sister, is at the couch, talking to her friends: Toshiaki, Abby, and...none other than Jane.
"Don't you have a son to look after, Jane?" Emily says, a brow raised, as she approaches Vinnie, Jane, and the others. You look at her in curiosity. Maybe this is the exact Jane, that Emily often talked of- the woman her brother was cheating on Sue for. Jane looks up at Emily, before forcing a small smile.
"No, my husband is looking after him." She says, to which Emily mirrors her expression, almost feeling pain due to forcing such a fake smile.
"I see." Emily says, before grabbing your hand and leading you to the main living room, her jaw clenching. She mutters a few curses under her breath, before swinging the door open, immediately revealing that of her mother, Austin, holding a baby in his arms, and...Sue.
"There you are, Emily! Look who's here!" Mrs Dickinson says with a smile. looks at Emily expectantly, waiting for her reaction. Austin gives Emily a small grin, while Sue looks at Emily with a warm smile. Emily doesn't know how to feel right now. After so long, more than 365 days not seeing her, she reappears as though she had never left.
"Why're they here?" Emily asks, her voice reduced to a small mumble, her eyes focusing on Sue. Sue. Sue. Mrs Dickinson lets out a small laugh, not noticing Emily's impending anger.
"Well, they were in town, so they thought they'd visit us. They're staying for the night, before they're going back home, right, Sue?" Mrs Dickinson says, to which Sue nods, with a smile, her eyes floating over to you, behind Emily. A brow raises, in slight confusion. You must be the Dickinsons' neighbour's daughter. But her lips form into a small frown, as though feeling this new...connection, between you and Emily.
"Okay. That's...nice." Is all she says, before walking out of the room, following the route to her bedroom. You follow after her, catching up with her fast speed. Emily marches up the stairs to her bedroom, her head turning to the side for a split second just to see if you're behind her. She's slept in this bedroom all her life. Turning the handle, she opens the door, gesturing for you to enter first, which you do. She's rarely allowed you to enter her room. Her desk is scattered with pages filled of writing. Unlike a few months ago. Curiously, you approach her desk, to which she gets there before you, covering any piece of work from your sight.
"On the bed, Y/N. You know I don't like people looking at my poems." She mutters. All but Sue. Only Sue should look at her poems. However...her poems aren't for Sue anymore. No. Rather...someone else. She doesn't want to admit it to herself. She's found herself writing as passionately as she was before, ever since she started...feeling things, for a certain someone. She doesn't want to feel it. She only wants to feel for...Sue. Despite her anger at Sue leaving her.
You comply with her words, giving her a small shrug, before walking over to her bed and sitting on it. Emily makes sure you're sat down, before walking over to her bed and sitting besides you, before moving the blanket up, so she can slide under it, you doing so too, in sync. At first, Emily's eyes move to the white ceiling of her bedroom. She doesn't know what she feels. It's foreign. It's a feeling she once thought was only reserved for Sue. Her past best friend. Her...lover. But...she doesn't think much of her anymore. Not since...you. And...she doesn't know how to deal with it.
"Go to sleep. You can stay for the night-I'm sure your father will be fine with that." Emily mutters quietly, her hand subconsciously snaking to the small of your back, pulling you against her. You don't think of the gesture that much, letting your eyes close, your head resting against Emily's head.
"I need you more and more, and the great world grows wider…
every day you stay away.."
Emily feels the words form in her head, as she stares above your head, at the wall, blankly. A hand moves to gently stroke your hair, as she hears your breathing come out as soft breaths, telling her you've fallen asleep. What does she see you as? You cannot replace her love for Sue. Can you? Despite her reluctance to face Sue, due to her leaving for a year, she...still loves her. Right? But...her poems don't reflect that. It reflects the impending fire growing inside her, a new love, for a new person. She doesn't want to believe it. Not for...you. And just then, she's interrupted, from her deep thoughts, at the sound of her door opening.
"Emily." A soft voice is heard, Emily's eyes moving from the wall, to the door, to see Sue, standing there with a smile, before it fades once more, noticing you, asleep, head on Emily's chest. You, in a position she once was in. She gently closes the door behind her.
"She's asleep. What do you want, Sue?" Emily whispers quietly, as to not stir you, before almost hesitantly getting out of her bed, as though not wanting to...move away from you. She stands by her bed, waiting for a response from Sue.
"I just wanted to see you. I missed you." Sue whispers softly, as she walks over to Emily's desk, her fingers trailing along the wood, before picking up one of the parchments on Emily's desk, one which has words scribbled onto it. Emily silently watches Sue, before clearing her throat.
"I don't want to see you right now, Sue."
"Why? Because you're seeing someone else now?" Sue says, walking over to Emily, and handing her the parchment. Emily's brown eyes glare at Sue, before momentarily flickering down to the parchment, where...your name is, repeated once every few lines.
"I don't love her. I've found...my new muse, in her. That's all." Emily murmurs quietly, holding the piece of parchment in her hand. "You should go. Jane's here too. You never know, Austin might be after her again." Emily continues, her jaw clenching slightly. What...does she feel for you, Y/N..? Sue sighs, before looking at you.
"Have you fallen out of love for me, because I left? What is she to you, Em?" Sue mumbles softly, with a sad expression, a hand moving to Emily's cheek. Emily lightly tenses at the touch, gently moving Sue's hand off her cheek.
"I-...no, I still love you. She's just...my muse. You weren't here to be my muse. I...found another. But...my love is always for you." Emily whispers quietly. She...doesn't feel the same fiery longing she had for Sue, last time she saw her. She...doesn't even feel the truth in her words. A hand somewhat...reluctantly, moves to Sue's waist, as though trying to prove some...truth in her words. "I do. I really do." Emily mutters.
This brings a small smile on Sue's lips, as her hand moves to the back of Emily's neck, playing with the hair there. "Okay... I just...wanted to make sure. I love you so much." Sue whispers softly, before leaning to give Emily a small kiss. Emily reciprocates the kiss, her hand lightly squeezing Sue's waist, before Sue pulls away.
"I guess I'll go see what Austin is doing. Then maybe...if...everyone's out, we could..."
"Yeah- yeah, okay... Good night." Emily murmurs, getting what Sue's saying. Sue gives Emily a small wave, before exiting the bedroom, leaving Emily just standing there, collecting her bearings. She felt...no...desire. No passion. Nothing. And...it scares her. Emily walks over to her desk, setting the parchment back onto the desk, before looking at your sleeping figure, innocent, and vulnerable under the covers.
"..What are you doing to me, Y/N?" Emily whispers softly, before sitting at her desk, her mind swirling with words, and thoughts. Only related to...you. Not Sue. You.

Kate's eyes widen, momentarily stunned from the unexpected kiss. A small, sharp inhale escapes Kate's lips, as she looks down at you with wide blue eyes, before she finds herself succumbing to your kiss, hands moving down to grip onto your hips, leaning down slightly to kiss you better. She slowly backs you against the wall of the training room, moving her lips against yours, before parting them, letting her tongue slide into your mouth, teasing yours. You whimper, eliciting a reaction from Kate, as she deepens the kiss, her hands roaming your body, re-familiarising herself with it, before breaking the kiss, her lips moving to your cheek, jaw, and neck.
Your eyes flutter shut, a hand moving to Kate's back, gripping on the sports bra, as one of her hands slide down to your booty shorts. "C'mere.." Kate whispers, as she pulls you away from the wall, panting softly, her hair slightly covering her face, as she sets you to sit on the bench. You're trying to calm your breathing, as she gets onto her knees, hands moving to the soft curves of your hips once more, before trailing down, starting to gently remove your shorts. You let her, eyes focused on her calloused, strong hands pulling your shorts down, before her fingers move to your panties, hooking a finger under the waistband, before letting it too, pool down around your ankles.
"I missed this...I missed you.." Kate whispers, her breathing heavy, as is yours, as she parts your legs, settling herself between them, before her head moves between your thighs, her jet black locks falling down her head, covering her face. The remembrance, of moments you used to have like this, with her, instantly hit you, as her breath ghosts over your thighs, before her lips gently press against your inner thigh, then to the other, slowly inching closer.
"Kate...please.." You manage to whisper shakily. Her head moves up, just to look at your expression, cheeks flushed, aching for her. And within a second, her head ducks back down, and you instantly feel her warm tongue drag across you. Kate lets out a sigh, as she gently kisses the middle, before going back to soft drags of her tongue. Your back arches, one hand grabbing the back of her head with weak, shaky fingers, the other gripping onto the edge of the bench.
Your head falls back, eyes focused on the ceiling, the intense sensations flooding your system, as you feel her tongue gently probing into you, her hands grabbing your thighs, gently squeezing, as though encouraging you to grind against her. To which your body instantly does. A soft moan of her name escapes your lips, to which Kate groans at.
"A bit more...a bit more." Kate whispers against you, as you grind against her mouth, seeking the friction you so need, as her lips finally wrap around your clit, sucking at it roughly, causing strings of soft moans and whimpers to escape your lips, as one of your hands fly up to your mouth, covering it to muffle the sounds. After all, you're both still...inside the training room. Anyone could walk in. Kate's tongue circles around your clit, before moving to delve back inside, gently prodding for a few seconds. And finally, when she feels your impending release, your inner walls fluttering, her head moves away.
You gasp at the loss of her mouth, your body lightly shaking, your hand still gripping her head. Kate pants, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, before getting up and unbuckling her belt. You're too out of it, feeling overstimulated, from not having your release, to hear the sound of Kate unzipping her pants, and stepping out of it. Kate's eyes are focused on you, at your dishevelled appearance, your hair covering your eyes, your cheeks flushed, chest heaving heavily. She scrambles to get out of her boxers, before a hand wraps around her cock, pumping it a few times to prepare herself.
Kate moves her hands under your thighs, before lifting you up, your legs spread out for her, as she moves a hand to wrap your slim, smooth legs around her waist, walking over back to the wall. Your head falls limp against her shoulder, hands sliding under the back of her sports bra to grab onto her back tightly, as she grinds herself against you.
"In-Inside...please..." You beg, panting heavily, forehead against the crook of her neck, as she guides herself to your entrance, before her hips push upwards, sliding inside easily with the help of your wetness. A soft mewl escapes your lips, nails digging into her back, causing her to let out a small moan, as she starts to thrusts her hips up, hands bringing you back down onto her cock, using the wall as leverage to help her bounce you on her cock.
It's all such a blur. All of this. From kissing her, due to being affected by the desperation, and longing in her eyes, to...having sex again, after a long year of not being with her. You don't know what you want. To get back with her? To be able to love her again? But that would end up like last time; after all, being in love with a hero...is...one of the most stressing things anyone could ever experience. How do you know Kate will keep her promise- how do you know she won't put herself in danger, like she always does?
Kate grunts, her head pressing against the wall, as her movements move into slow, rough upwards thrusts, hands grabbing you back down onto her, the sound of your whimpers and moans, her grunts and groans, and the sound of your hips colliding echoing through the training room. The wet sounds of her plunging back into you fill your ears, making you both desperate for your releases.
"I-I can't...K-Kate.." You gasp out, the overstimulation building up, begging to be set free. Kate whimpers, as she continues driving herself upwards into you, in slow, rough strokes, before whispering huskily.
"Let go...I'm here...let go."
And you don't need to be told twice, as your body shakes against Kate, biting down onto her shoulder to muffle your shaky moans and gasps. And at the same time, Kate's fingers dig into the flesh of your thighs, continuing to bring you down on her cock, as she releases thick ropes of her essence inside you, bringing you through your high, before finally, her hips still, and so do her hands on your thighs, both of you a hot, sweaty mess..
➳
Your bodies are intertwined, your head against her chest, eyes closed. You're both laid on one of the gym mats, Kate basking in the after-effects of the intense moment. Luckily, you're on birth control, or you could've both faced the consequences of the events from half an hour ago. Your breathing is calm, steady, signifying you must've fallen asleep a few minutes ago. Kate looks down at the bottom of your head, before sighing, looking up at the ceiling. You both haven't changed back into your pants, your bottom halves naked, connected. Kate's hand moves to your hair, gently stroking, before she mumbles quietly. "What are we, Y/N?"
She gets no response, only the sounds of your soft breaths against her chest. She leans her head down, to press it against the top of your head. "If we...can't be together...whatever we are...whatever this is...I want it." Kate whispers softly, before she lets her eyes close, a hand moving to your back, keeping you nestled against her.
