Spoiler warnings for Jurassic World Rebirth.
As my name would suggest, it's time to talk about the suits seen in, which I assume are meant to be clean suits which makes sense as they are in a lab setting and your preventing what your working on from being contaminated by your staff and protecting the staff from biological substances. Probably want some safety goggles or safety glasses through.
However let's tall about the futuristic looking one Williams is seen wearing while eating a Snickers.
Firstly, nothing like that exist. It's even way outside of the fake suits you've seen in movies like "Outbreak". What he's wearing looks closer to a Seatrek helmet than any hazmat or clean room suit in existence, let alone one in 2010.
Secondly, why is even eating in the Lab, especially in the clean room? Sure you can make the argument that he wasn't handling anything yet so it's not like he was going to be exposed to anything, which is true, however, once again they're in the clean room, where everyone is wearing face mask and he has his visor up and is eating a Snickers. Even if he was only a laboratory technician, he still had to go to a lab tech school and I'm 100% certain he was taught about Lab Hygiene there. And even if it's slipped for him, shouldn't there be posted reminders, refresher courses and or the very least a colleague reminding him that "Hey, Williams, don't eat in the clean room as your risking all the work we're doing".
Considering none of that seemly exist which likely means safety and security sucks, it's a wonder it took this long for a asset to breach containment. The lab's design alone was a risk, with area requiring people to wear hazmat suits not having a decontamination room right at the entrance before re-entering the rest of the clean room, on top of not having normal sized doors for everyday use by staff instead of the massive door they use for moving their "Assets".
On a positive note, the suits did have PAPRs (Powered air-purifying respirator), which was what the hose on the helmet connected to on the back of the suit, was a nice detail.
Also the suits hazmat suit they were seen wearing in New York were actually fairly good. I don't know what the point of them was considering, that if it was for the health of the dinosaur all the bystander were to close and if it was for protection against a biohazard, bystanders were once again, too close.
However, they did have filters on them and they used actually believable suits. Although wearing the mask straps over the hood seems to be a choice considering you typically want to remove your mask last. I would say it's still believable considering that manufacturers like Dräger show pictures of their suits and masks being worn this way.
