I am going to be archiving this blog. I’m no longer comfortable remaining in the anti hazbin community, knowing that many of its members hate me, and have mocked me since I left the server this morning. I apologize to anyone who liked this blog.

Going on Hiatus

I just want to start by saying that I am in no way looking for sympathy.

Recently, there has been a lot of fighting between me and other members of the Hazbin Rewrite server. Today, it got really bad, and I decided to leave.

Because of this, I’m going to be taking a break from this blog, in order to clear my head and get away from the Hazbin-crit community for a bit.

Thank you to all of the people who have supported me over these past few months, I really appreciate you all and your support.

In the server I was immature and argued with and insulted others, just for pointing out my flaws. The people who did it just happened to be minors, making my actions even worse. Please do not try to come and defend or forgive me for my actions, because you guys have no need or reason to. You weren’t the people I hurt.

If you are an anti, you may want to avoid "Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru!"

The Fall 2018 Anime season has begun, and we are getting new shows and new continuations. JJBA: Vento Aureo has finally begun, and there is this new anime about lesbian romance, Yagate Kimi ni Naru, that looks pretty cute so far. But not every anime is perfect, and there’s always a show that makes you want to punch in the face the idiots who made it. 

“Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru!” or “UzaMaid” for short, seems like it is going to be like one of those animes for me.

This anime is… Well, I’ll  just copy and paste the sinopsis

“Having lost her mother at a young age, Misha Takanashi, a second grade elementary school girl with Russian blood, now lives with her Japanese father. Tsubame Kamoi, formerly a Self-Defense Force officer, comes to the Takanashi household as a housekeeper. This is a home comedy where Kamoi, a hardcore lolicon, attempts to get near Misha as she tries to fight against her.”

…Yeah, it is that kind of anime.

Did I mention that this is a comedy?

While, as far as I can tell, the series is not explicit CP (Thank goodness), it is still about a pedophile sexually harassing a little girl while the little girl’s father does nothing. The woman in cuestion even outright admits that she is not interested in girls that have begun menstruating. Ewww. 

People will defend this anime saying that it’s humor, that is not supposed to be taken seriously. I can get that, I watched Happy Sugar Life with a too similar argument, because it was a really morbid horror anime that just happened to have pedophilia on it just to make things all the more messed up.

Here’s the thing: Happy Sugar Life was a horror anime. The pedophiles on it, even the ones with sympathetic backstories including the MC, were always portrayed as really sick individuals, and since the MC was a child groomer, its implicit that she was saving any sexual acts for when her victim was older. That is fucked up on it’s own right, but at least it meant that I didn’t had to watch that child be sexually abused, which would have probably kept me from watching the show at all even if meant for horror. Also, spoiler alert, the pedophile dies when her whole plan comes crashing down around her, and her victim is last seen getting medical help, even if still horribly traumatized. 

HSL was wrong and uncomfortable because it was supposed to make you feel uncomfortable and scared. With this show, I’m supposed to see this grown woman sexually abusing this little girl, something HSL never did, and laugh at it. 

I’m all for the “Humor is not supposed to be politically correct” argument, but there’s some lines I don’t like to cross.

If you like this kind of humor, good for you. But to all my fellow Anti-MAPs and to people who were CSA victims or just plain don’t want to see this kind of content, you all may want to avoid this anime like the plague.

The excuse "I was young and dumb" doesn't fly. Everyone was young and dumb and school puts every young and dumb kids together. When I was in school not one said the r word nor the n word. They said b*tch and bas*erd.

I slightly disagree here. Some people, such as myself, were brought up in households where slur usage (the r-slur in my case) was completely normal. I didn’t know that it was a slur, from the way my family used it, I just thought was another word for stupid.

Being older and smarter, I now know that the r-slur is indeed a slur, and I NEVER say it, because I understand that it is not okay for me to say.

HOWEVER, the N-word is a very different case. Ever since I heard the word for the first time (I think I was in 3rd grade?) I knew that it was a horrible word that I shouldn’t ever say, especially as a white person.

Also I don’t know what school anon went to because holy FUCK public school kids say so many fuckin slurs.

Also I just want to clarify that this is NOT me defending Micheal’s actions. As a white person it is not my place to defend or forgive him. I’m just explaining that in some scenarios, stupid kids CAN say slurs without realizing that they’re actually slurs.

But at the age Micheal was at when he did it, he definitely should’ve known better :/
