I remember when I first saw this scene, I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't even think about it or see edits about it because it physically and mentally felt like I actually lost a loved one in real life.

Took me about two weeks to finally stop crying whenever I saw the scene again. I couldn't stand listening to Morpheus say "I'm tired my sister, I'm very tired". IT HURT ME SO BAD. 💔.

Death giving immortality to Hob and having Dream meet him once every 100 years was sort of an equivalent of a person giving their sibling a dog so they would go out of their house. It's like "here, a buddy with whom you have to go out regularly. His mouth does not close and he smells sometimes but dude you need to touch grass once in a while". And Dream reluctantly took it but after a short time (for him) he ended up going out of his way to get his friend treats. (The treats being an extinct wine he took from somebody else's dream.)
