There is a restaurant that has signature dishes and people like those dishes a lot. They have a reliable customer base. One day the chef creates an experimental limited-time dish. And people like that new dish a lot. And later when the chef removes it from the menu like he always planned, people go oh man we loved the new dish, why did you remove it? And the chef gets so pissed, he burns down the restaurant instead. Anyway that’s Castiel supernatural for you.
