he  didn’t  mind  cats ,  it  was  a  nice  change  from  the  various  creatures  he  has  had  to  deal  with  in  the  past .  he  can’t  say  demodogs  were  as  friendly  as  the  others  pet  was ,  so  it  was  very  welcomed .    ‘  you  can  put  him  back  down  --  i’m  great  with  pets  -  &  kids  -  but  totally  pets .  ’    is  that  a  terrible  attempt  at  talking  himself  up ?  perhaps !    ‘  steve ,  pet  carer  extraordinaire .  ’    &  a  hand  reaches  up  to  push  back  his  hair  with  a  smile .    ‘  &  you  are ?  ’

☆ﾟ*・ﾟ┊joe keery, he/him + 22, cismale┊❝ take a chill pill, that’s just « steve harrington », i heard they’ve been in hawkins since « 1964 ». i always catch a glimpse of them at « family video », humming to the tune of « i’m still standing - elton john » when they think no one’s looking. also, they’re like totally known as the « babysitter » of town, so i’d keep my eye on them. seriously. ❞

OwO ?  what’s this ?  shooky with another dumb child ?  absolutely !  i’ve never played steve before so please bare with me while i attempt to do my son justice .

i won’t bore you with everything we know from the show already ,  instead i’m gonna just hit y’all with some headcanons post s3 because like ...  less effort .

so ,  thanks to robin being the mvp she is ,  he got the job at family video .  does he bring in as many girls as was promised ?  probably not !  but he’s still a good worker ,  please don’t fire him .

it took him a bit to get over whatever feelings he had gained for robin .  she’s still his best friend  &  he likes to dub himself the  biggest lesbian ally  because he can  &  will punch you in the face if you say one bad thing about his best friend .   (  will he get his ass handed to him in return ?  most likely .  does this stop him from standing up for her when he can ?  absolutely not .  )

he’s still ...  very  bad at picking up girls .  he’s had luck with maybe like ,  two or three girls since he got his job at the video store .  perhaps one day he will find a girl who will appreciate him  &  his inability to flirt .  someone please find it charming ,  he’s lonely .

he moved out !  he’s slummin’ it with robin .  good luck to the future of their apartment ,  i guess !

still has no idea what he wants to do with his life ,  will probably never move out of hawkins  &  will work at the video store until he’s forty .  who knows .  at least he still has his hair ,  that’s all he cares about .  considering the stress he goes through keeping his children alive ,  it’s surprising he still has his hair ,  let’s be real .

u h .  highkey ?  has many a nightmare about all the shit he’s been through with the kids .  he’ll never admit to it ,  but it happens .  sure ,  he hasn’t been through the same amount of shit as some of them have been ,  he hasn’t seen some of the shit they have ,  but he’s a sensitive boy okay .  he’s seen things .
