I think maybe watching the Bob's Burgers Halloween episode where they put hot sauce in the teenage boys' pants, the You episode where they're writing a screenplay on drugs in a hotel room, and the Twin Peaks episode where he finally makes it into the...room with the red curtains and comes back out possessed by Bob back to back would fix me

...and then I would wrap this up by watching the episode of The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window with the sex scene and text message exchange about craving bread, I was on that episode the last time I got to eat pizza and open Netflix and see where I'd left off and it was really cathartic

actually I don't think it's such a coincidence men who are the most addicted to porn don't understand people who listen to music (or their taste is...interesting)... I think maybe the appeal of porn is to be very voyeuristic and objectifying and music demands you be sort of enveloped in it or the opposite of detached

I don't feel like I have an accent honestly... I talk with a standard American accent but it feels very uncomfortable. I can talk with an east Texan accent more easily than any accent in the world (but can't talk with any other kind of southern accent) because that's where I was born and raised, but I would feel weird talking like that because I'm not expected to. And Australian is my favorite accent so years ago I would listen to random podcasts from there and now I can do that accent without thinking about it and wish I could keep going because the lack of r's is nice (and same with English because I watched a lot of the TV when I was little)... I genuinely don't think I have a real one

I can't verbalize this in the way I want to, and I don't want to make any woman feel like she's not allowed to complain. But every time I see the uterus personified as an evil entity and periods treated as bad, I low-key cringe. No, your body isn't inherently meant to be pregnant, and no your period is not a punishment for failing to be pregnant. You're not failing at being a woman because you aren't having babies. Your body is not turning against you because you did something wrong. Unless you suffer from an illness that exacerbates your periods, you're just going through a neutral, dare I say good because it's a sign you're healthy, human female experience. This way of thinking feels like the modernized opinions of a medieval priest.

So I guess my perception was off and people were actually seeing Tom Steyer as the anti establishment leftist one and Xavier Becerra as the establishment one? Tom Steyer is just so odd to me though, he's like if a Nicolas Cage movie character decided to become Bruce Wayne instead of a superhero or to steal the Declaration of Independence, I just don't know what to make of it

The fact that we still applaud men for not even doing the laundry properly is INSANE to me. He ruined very expensive clothing and she’s brushing it off as a “mistake” … if my fully grown adult man husband doesn’t know how to do the fucking laundry then that is not a mistake, that is pure stupidity. I know I’m being a little bit too overdramatic about this but this is a prime example of (in terms of a larger scale) men making every situation as worse as possible and the general public brushing it off as a “mistake” rather than pure stupidity that should be resulted by some type of disciplinary action or punishment. Why do we keep applauding men that don’t know how to do basic fucking necessities??? My head hurts just thinking about this.

obligatory rebuttal but it's never stupidity, it's weaponized incompetence so she'll know to do all the labor herself/that he saw himself as marrying into. And she's trying to get some momentary sympathy only so if she were to get too much pushback she'd be distraught and say "you don't know my husband, he loves me and you're weird" and this will go on long after I'm dead
