“Very good.” She waved her hands dismissively, expecting the older student to scurry off. “Bye-bye now, Black.”
Teddy laughed, “Goodbye, Eliana.” he said, nodding his head to her and walking away.

“Very good.” She waved her hands dismissively, expecting the older student to scurry off. “Bye-bye now, Black.”
Teddy laughed, “Goodbye, Eliana.” he said, nodding his head to her and walking away.
lorgannott:
“If I have, it might have been just not in your company, Teddy.” he reminded him in a gentle tone, before getting distracted by the butterbeer comment. “I could, though I can’t help but dislike your choice.”
Teddy laughed, “Of course,” he grinned, “Not a fan of butterbeer? What is it for you, Firewhisky? Fishy green ale? Pumpkin juice?” he asked, his tone light.
eliana-finnigan:
“Well, one rat isn’t good for much other than your own personal entertainment–but a swarm…that’ll do some damage. Cats don’t operate in packs like that. Makes them just a bit useless, s’far as I’m concerned.”
“I’m quite sure that I can safely assume I don’t appreciate the owner, so it’s no skin off my back.”
Teddy frowned, considering, “I can see where you’re coming from, I suppose I’ll have to reevaluate my stance on rats now.”
Teddy laughed, “of course, I’ll just take him off your hands then.”
madnessofmichelle:
“What do you mean? Does he do things you don’t agree with?” She tried to keep her voice innocent but the strain of her interest was clear in her voice as he described Scorpius. “I mean objectively of course.”
Teddy smiled, “Oh, you know, he likes to put butter and jelly on his scones. It’s appalling to watch.” Teddy said quickly, knowing that picking on the servus probably shouldn’t be his first remark on his cousin’s behavior. He grinned at her, “Definitely objectively. Though I may have more of an insider’s perspective than anything.”
lorgannott:
“You’ll think I’m not feeling well for saying this, but I’ve got bored of the castle and figured a little stroll might help. Besides, we’re free to visit Hogsmeade. Why waste the weekend?”
Teddy raised an eyebrow, “Just to stretch your legs? I’m impressed, you’ve never wanted to get out of the castle this badly before. I’ll go with you, so long as you buy me a butterbeer.”

Louis laughed, “If you think I’m classy then you have a very odd definition of the term. I just want to make sure I do something that makes her know that I was thinking of her, but more than a card. But you’re right, if I could get the paper to sing that would be perfect. Like a howler without the anger.”
“I suppose I do have an odd definition of it,” Teddy smiled, “I do think you’re classy though.” Teddy paused, considering, “Maybe there’s a book on it? Or we could find a howler and test it,” Teddy grinned, “I wouldn’t mind being your test subject, especially if it means I get to hear your singing more often.”
eliana-finnigan:
“No,” she retorted flatly. “Never minded mice–they’re smart things, actually. Never given the proper credit they’ve deserved in my opinion.”
“Yeah, whatever. Feed it to the giant squid for all I care–as long as it doesn’t bother me.”
Teddy shrugged, “I guess, I don’t really see what good they do though,”
Teddy laughed, “I don’t think the owner would appreciate that, but sure, he won’t bother you again.”
madnessofmichelle:
“How can you be dead long enough to forget your own history?” Michelle mused. “There’s no one that I’d feel comfortable going up to and just asking ‘how did you die?’. It would be too uncomfortable.”
“I don’t know, I’ve never been dead, but some of the ghost don’t seem to remember everything about their life.” Teddy said with a shrug, “It could be interesting, maybe they want to talk.”
madnessofmichelle:
Michelle kept pace with him as they headed along her route, trying to keep up with all the things she was supposed to do as she went. At the mention of Scorpius, Michelle swallowed hard, “Uh yeah I guess he can. What do you think of him? I mean objectively?”
Teddy slowed down a bit, raising an eyebrow at Michelle, “Well, he is my cousin, so I’m a bit biased.” He paused, considering, “Well, I suppose objectively, I could say he’s not a bad person, I don’t always agree with his actions, but... he’s not so bad.”
madnessofmichelle:
Michelle took a deep breath before nodding, “Yup. Let’s get going before I change my mind.” The darkness was really getting to her more than she wanted to admit, and it was really nice to have Teddy there. “So… what’s been going on with you?” She asked awkwardly, trying to start up a conversation.
Teddy smiled, “Sounds good, let’s get going then.” Teddy led the way down the corridor, keeping in step with Michelle. “I’ve just been trying to get Scorpius to lighten up, as usual. My cousin can be a little tense.” He said with a laugh.
singtomelouisweasley:
“My mum is the classiest lady you’ve ever seen, Teddy. If you saw her, well I don’t think anything I can afford is good enough. I used to make her songs but… well that seems a little childish now. And anyway it’s not like she’ll hear it before the school year ends.”
"She’d have to be, to raise you,” Teddy said, smiling, “I think your mum would like anything you got her, even if you weren’t able to spend a lot on it.” Teddy raised an eyebrow, “Your music isn’t childish at all, it’s something you love and are passionate about, I think your mum would love it if you made her a song, though you’re right, she wouldn’t be able to hear it for a while. I don’t think there’s a charm to make paper sing, though you might be able to find one.”
madnessofmichelle:
“One should wonder about at least one immeasurable topic a day. It’s good for the brain. Or so I believe. I’ve just always wondered if the weightlessness is palpable in the after life, and if as sensory input is deadened so is emotional? It’s a complex topic to say the least.”
Teddy grinned, “Of course, that does make sense. You have plenty of ghosts to ask, though I suppose most of them have been ghosts for too long to remember.” Teddy nodded, “that’s true, it’s very interesting at the very least.”
madnessofmichelle:
Michelle nodded, “I accept your accompaniment then, Mr. Black. I’m just about to head down that way, should we check if the coast is clear before continuing?” She asked, a grin sliding across her face.
Teddy’s face lit up with a grin, “Oh definitely, we’ll need to ensure that there’s no one lurking around the corner waiting to jump out at us.” Teddy placed a hand on Michelle’s shoulder, “Are you ready, then?”

Malfoy didn’t see what hurt the large Northern Hawk Owl. Maybe she had been flying too close to the forbidden forest, but she showed up looking for him in the hallway with her wing mangled, clearly in shock. His healing magic was adequate but he had never tried on animal, and he was too attached to Eris to risk it, so he bolted for the hospital wing. Rounding his first corner, he slammed headlong into another body, a vicious snarl curling at his lips. “Move.”
Teddy stuck his hands in his pockets as he walked towards the Slytherin common room, he had some transfiguration homework he could be finishing, and while he didn’t particularly want to finish it, it was probably the best idea for spending his time. He wasn’t looking where he was walking, too focused on trying to remember what exactly he was supposed to be doing for the assignment when he ran into Scorpius, “Woah, Scor, what’s the rush?”
singtomelouisweasley:
Louis paced the hall, a look of absolute concentration on his face. He couldn’t do this on his own, he realized suddenly, whatever he came up with would just be abysmal. He needed an expert opinion. Just as he thought that, the perfect candidate appeared, walking towards him. Sticking his hand out he said, “Sorry… Do you have a minute? I need to get a birthday present for my mum. Do you have any ideas?”
Teddy was walking down the hallway, lost in thought when Louis’ hand in front of him stopped him, he only barely managed to catch the end of Louis’ question as he came out of his thoughts. “What does your mom like? I’m sure she’ll love anything you give her.”
madnessofmichelle:
Michelle was in one of her moods. Not a bad mood by any stretch of the imagination, but a mood none the less. She was dreamy, distant and perhaps a little melancholy, thinking about Adrian again. Michelle often thought for several hours about him, wondering where he was and if he was safe, sometimes she even wondered if he was dead. Perhaps he was even a ghost, “I should wonder what it would like to be a ghost…” she mused, not realizing she had spoken aloud.
Teddy was walking through the halls when he heard Michelle’s statement, he frowned, pondering for a minute, “I think it would be interesting, don’t you? Getting to float everywhere and talk to anyone?” Teddy moved to stand next to her, “Something on your mind? Or do you just wonder about ghosts every day?”
lorgannott:
“It’s your lucky day. I need to run an errand in Hogsmeade and you’re coming along to help. Now.”
Teddy raised an eyebrow at Lorgan, “Am I now? And what errand do you need to run all the way in Hogsmeade?”
