Summoning (Fate/Stay Night AU)

Oscar drew in a deep breath and poured the last vial of blood into the already carved summoning circle before stepping back and admiring his handwork. Despite being quite a bit younger then most Magus at 16 he was no slouch when it came to his measurements. He was certain that his dad might have been able to craft something better, but seeing that his father wasn’t around anymore his own work was going to have to do. “Okay, here goes nothing,” Oscar closed his eyes and felt fire enter his veins as the magical circuits around his body burned, feeling all of their power flow to the Crest that had been passed down onto him.

“Fill, Fill, Fill, Fill, Fill, and after each is filled simply let it be broken. Let Silver and Steel be the essence. Let Stone and the Archduke of Contracts be the Foundation.” as the summoning ritual began he felt the heat in his blood rise as his magic began to connect with the Grail itself through the ritual. Never in his life had he been in more pain, but in return he could almost taste the power his crest provided for him. However as he continued the chant he could feel that it wasn’t enough, so activated his families own special ability.

With less then a thought Oscar traded away two years of his life to increase the power within him. The Origin Growth and the Elemental Affinity of Earth allowed him to force his power to grow beyond what his body could usually hold at the risk of a shortened lifespan. But if he could hold the Grail in his hands then it wouldn’t be an issue.

“From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three greet words of power, Come forth from the ring of restraints, Protector of the Holy Balance!”

The circle exploded with power and nearly knocked him off his feet, yet he stood in defiance and smiled to himself. “Ritual…complete.” he turned his eyes toward the Spirit he had summoned to await their reaction.
