Christmas was a hectic success. Spent Christmas eve day working, but we got Starbucks and it went off without a hitch. Did our yearly fondue on Christmas eve with my great aunts, aunt, uncle and the regulars. Spent Christmas day with Tony's family.

This was Nolan and my first year spending Christmas is one spot. However he left for Calgary today for a well deserved holiday with his family.

The next couple of days I'm taking time to set intentions for the year and decade too. Thinking of things I'd like to accomplish, big and small.

Hope everyone had a good holiday and were able to spend time with their loved ones.

I have an appointment to get my cast off on friday and I really hope it comes off and stays off.

I turned 29, friends came over and they made me a cake with Petey on it. Got cast #1 taken off and cast #2on. Still not working but figuring out how to walk.

Nolan bought me my first pair of Jordan's, I promptly broke my ankle in two spots, and got to spend quality time with my pup today

Went to wonderland with my coworkers/besties. Spent 18 hours with them and didnt want to full die until hour 16.

Went to the beach with my babs today and passed the j to Rae

Celebrated a year of being married!

Someone asked about our registry, so I told them where it was. Then promptly receive a message saying “registrys suck because you guys live together and have everything you need, we’ll just give you money” like thanks but 1. Why’d you ask for it and 2. Why would we make a registry filled with stuff we don’t need??? I don’t want people to spend money on stuff we wont use.

Had my bachelorette this weekend! Saw limp wrist on friday. Did an escape room and went to pride in the park. Ran into old friends and danced my life away to Ongina and Thorgy Thors performances.

Went to an interview at the Doughnut shop. Got hired. Got a call from my shitty job asking to see a client tonight and I said no. They gave me a hard time so I went to the office and handed in my two weeks notice.

So I'm officially a doughnut cutie at Beechwood and no longer a health care worker ;-)
