Anders’ ability to deliver a good deadpan was severely underestimated. For example, he was able to look Garrett straight in the eye and say, “I was going to tell you tonight,” without breaking down into giggles.

"Tonight."

"Yes."

"Presumably when we were getting ready for bed?"

"Well, presumably, yes. I hadn’t really thought that far ahead to be honest. I thought you’d be out late.”

"Anders, there are cats on the bed. One is alright — two maybe but — this?”

Anders couldn’t help it. He snorted. Garrett just looked so offended with the cats in his lap, vulnerable in his bare feet and house clothes, and Anders ended up giggling so hard he had to lean on the door frame for support, burying his face in one arm. “Garrett — I don’t — think that that’s the biggest problem.”

"…there are more, aren’t there. How many cats did you bring home?”

Anders peeked out over his wrist. His face felt hot. He was blushing, he just knew it. “How many do you want there to be?”

In the end, there was only one solution, which was debated fiercely before both parties settled on a compromise they could both stand.

They ended up keeping them all.

Sooo since I haven't been active on here in quite a while...let me clarify why. I've found that I have literally no motivation whatsoever to write lately, be it drafts or anything else, be it the exams at fault or whatever else.

If anyone has any tips on how I could get that motivation back, I’d be glad to take ‘em, otherwise I dunno whether I’ll keep on being here :I
