Mary Jane â*
âSo yeah, Iâve just been super tense lately and I think marijuana could potentially solve my issues, or at least alleviate some of the problems, you know?â Tâwas no secret hallucinogens were widely appreciated in her house, at least among the senior pupils, for all the mind-blowing cognisance they induced in the open mind. Weed was the tip of the iceberg, but possessing it legally was a good start ââ a start Jane was willing to embark on. The trip (pun intended) was far from impromptu, sheâd been steadily building up her case and her repertoire with hospital wing visits throughout the years and GP reports from her muggle doctor at home. The procedure would have felt dreadfully tedious if the one embarking on such a mission was not Jane; Jane had built in optimism made for long administrative struggle. A part of her was nervous, talking at length, but she was being honest, and talking transparently to someone made her feel considerably better. Dang. Maybe Hogwarts needed a counsellorââÂ
âSpending time in Colorado getting to really know myself just confirmed all of my suspicions, it made everything easier for me. The website, summer work⌠Iâm not biting off more than I can chew, I love it all, but a stress reliever? Would be super helpful.â
Natasha nods as Jane speaks, eyes flicking down at the file in her lap detailing several instances when Jane had been examined for stress related ailments, wizarding and muggle. She had to admit that the paperwork showed Jane was in need of some sort of anxiety medication, but marijuana she wasnât sure. The Ministry tended to breathe down any healerâs neck when prescriptions for that were discussed, and Natasha preferred to examine any other options before prescribing anything, let alone in a school environment. Had this been outside of Hogwarts, she wouldnât have many problems with prescribing it for her. âAh, well.. I understand your reasoning and your file certainly shows that you have an anxiety problem... But..â She purses her lips and flips through the file a few more times before continuing. âHave you considered any other stress relieving alternatives? Medicinal or Homeopathic? Iâve heard that lavender oils work wonders and they are... considerably less controversial.â Sighing, Natasha removes her glasses and sets them on the stack of paper in her lap. âJane, are you sure that this is something you really want? You have to understand that any time you need this, youâll have to come here for it and that by Ministry laws I canât give you very much at a time. Itâs a very controlled substance and not something to be taken lightly..â
