Kaia stared down at the echo, the list of groceries that displayed before her was long and only going to grow longer. A low sigh passed her as her thin fingers brushed the snow white hair from her visage, clicking the device off she placed it on the strap of her belt. Light purple eyes looking up to catch sight of the saturated light of Moxxi’s bar, the reds casting over the dirt of Sanctuary. Maybe Moxxi had some spices or ingredients that she could buy? It wouldn’t be the first time she bought items from the busty woman, but she didn’t appreciate the loud crowded room either. She decided against it and began to turn around to go home.
What she hadn’t been expecting was to nearly bump into a citizen, her feet successfully catching themselves as she took a clumsy step back. “Oh, hello,” her voice was meek as her purple eyes glanced from the ground to the stranger’s face. “I… uh,” as Kaia began to speak, the familiar markings on other’s arm caught her attention. Unconsciously, the small woman grasped the wrapped arm that hid her own siren markings. She glanced shyly back to her wrapped toes once more, “I don’t think we met either…”
“Hehe, yeah, I’m pretty new to Sanctuary,” Kaia admitted sheepishly, her hand resting on her arm, tightened. She looked down at it, noticing that the cloth she wrapped around it to cover the markings was slowly coming undone. Nervousness spiked in her heart, as her mind tried to focus on the woman before her. How many people had seen them? Trying to nonchalantly wrap the cloth around her arm as she looked up at the other. Her fingers twitched before tying the last knot, clearing her throat she nodded at Akachi. “I... I’m Kaia, Kaia Fa-” she paused, shaking her head for a moment, “Kaia Ter’nak. Sorry, hehe.” The bag that hung from right arm did seem to get heavy as the woman mentioned it, a smile danced on her lips. “Sure, if you don’t mind. That’s very kind of you.” Shifting her arm closer, she allowed Akachi to take the bag from her, “are you from here originally?”

“Look, I know you scoped out some Hyperion trains because of their eridium supply... I need some help to get some of that eridium, please.” Kaia sighed, she could feel the drain in her body as she paced back and forth, he was really the only one who knew where they could be and she needed the eridium badly.

Kaia’s lips split into a large smile, the overwhelming joy of seeing a fine piece of skag meat being plopped in front of her was a little strange. She could tell that Amara had tried her hardest to kill this savagery beast and for that Kaia was grateful. Generally worried for the other’s health, Kaia came around the back, standing in front of the strong woman. Hands were extended out to her in concern, a feeling of guilt touching her heart. “Oh my. I’m so sorry for all the trouble, but -err- yes, this is exactly what I wanted.”
There was a pulse within the siren as she had the urge to heal the bruises touching the warrior’s flesh, the covered markings on her left arm flaring. Quickly making a move to cover them, Kaia smiled sheepishly. “Is there any way I can heal those wounds for you?”
Once the meat was on the counter, Amara found the nearest seat to drop herself onto. Which mostly meant the floor. But before she got halfway, the other Siren was making her way around it to her, concern written on her face. Amara forced herself back to her feet again, worried that something else was wrong. Or that she had another task for her. “Oh, these? They’re no need for concern, they come with the territory.” Amara gently brushed her away with a smile. “You could repay me with some cash. And a lovely meal, if you like.”
Kaia smiled at the other siren, glancing at the seat she was going to sit in before standing once more. Still, there was a tug of guilt touching her heart as she looks closely at the bruises that she had received. Clearing her throat, the siren nodded, “if you insist, I will leave them be.” Turing around she grabs the skag meat that had been thrown on the counter, taking a sharp knife and stabbing it directly in the side. “I’ll gladly get your reward!” with that Kaia disappeared behind a door and returned with a wad of cash, if counted correctly it was around 900 dollars. She didn’t mention this to Damon but Kaia had added an extra few hundreds because she understood the hard lifestyle of Pandora. “Here’s the reward and how does roasted skag meat with a side of potatoes sound for a meal?”
“i’m begging you…”

“And why should I listen to you? Huh?” His shotgun was trained on the bandit which was beaten to a bloody mess on the ground. It had been them to approach him, trying to steal from his supplies during the night. It was only fair that Axton gave the bastard what he was asking for. The bandit on the other end of the shotgun flinched as the barrel of the gun came closer, nearly pressing against his chest. The coward’s cheeks were swelled from the fist fight the two had moments prior to the woman’s intervention. Axton had his own cut lip and bruised jaw but a life of military training was an upper hand than that of a bandit’s. “I should kill this asshole for daring to steal from ME.”
It had been the bandit’s idea to steal from the vault hunter, although Kaia knew that it was a bad idea and she had attempted to sway him from the decision, there was no way to get past his thick skull. When he had been caught, Kaia was nervous about the situation further, her heart skipping with anxiety. Seeing that her friends were defeated in battle, the siren acknowledges she had to intervene, hope that it didn’t come to this she jumped out. Kaia’s hands were raised in a surrendered position, showing the vault hunter she meant no harm. “Because I know that you can be a man of mercy, anyone can,” Kaia made her way closer to the wounded bandit, one of the king’s men that she swore she’d protect them with her life. The siren attempted to get on the vault hunter’s civil side before rushing to threats and violence, not that she had much weaponry on her. “If you kill this man, that will be on crimson blood your hands, and do you want that?” Giving a quick glance toward the bandit, her visage held curiosity as if asking what exactly he had stolen?
“ i have to try. ”
The look of skepticism and concern seemed permanently etched in his face. “Y'know, I’m all for experimentation, but sometimes bad ideas are just bad. You don’t have to do anything.”
“But if I don’t they won’t need me anymore a-and...” Kaia signed feeling defeated as she tried to think of the correct words to say, “it’s not a bad idea. I know it can work it’s just I’m unsure on how to help them. This can be my time to show them I’m more than what I am.”
CAN YOU FIGHT GOD?
“Heck yeah! the Ter’nak’s always one-shot god!” She may be a little too excited about this, that or the eridium she is on right now.

“Can I trust you?”
Now that was a stupid question really but one everyone on Pandora asked themselves every day. ‘Can I trust them?’ ‘Will they stab me in the back?’ ‘Am I going to die for this?’ But asked out loud? That almost never happened.
“Ya c’n trust I ain’t gonna ‘ave Mim ‘ere stomp ya. ‘Less ya decide ta try somethin’ real stupid ‘n off me. She’ll see ya faster ‘n I will.”
Kaia shifted anxiously on her feet, this wasn’t something she did often stepping out of her comfort box always sent her in a nervous fit. Her mind wondered if this was even worth it, that it would be better just to try and get off of the addicting eridium.
She couldn’t though, her powers needed them and if she was to reject the valuable resource then she wouldn’t be at her best for Damon and his people, a low sigh passed her lips as she nodded in agreeance. “O-okay, good. I promise that no harm will come to you or -err- Mim either.” The small female cleared her throat, listening carefully to the bandit’s threat. “I need something done and I don’t know if I can do it on my own… I need your help.”
