Teyonah Parris as Lysistrata in Chi-Raq (2015)
"Tsk tsk boys, always so vicious t' each other."
Dad said it's his turn with the siren powers
"Oooooh boy. Hit me wit' 'at sweet 'lectricity. Dayum."
Send me something to drabble about
A single word, a memory, a piece of the past that you’d like to see in greater detail, a scene between two muses. Let me write and worldbuild, pry into my character’s inner workings.
Have you ever fallen in love?
Morrie wrinkles her nose and sighs, reaching forward for the shot glass.
"Yeah, yeah I 'ave. 'E ain't never gonna love me back th' way I would like 'im to, but 'e loves me in 'is own way so I guess I gotta live wit' 'at." She pushes her bandanna back and tips the shot back.
Send my Muse have you ever and for every thing my Muse has done they will take a shot. 🍺
☕ - reassuring touch, such as holding their hand, gripping their shoulder, guiding them by the arm or by a hand on the small of their back, etc {Morrie}
Cass hadn’t realized that there was a look of nervousness on her face, not until she felt a hand wrap around hers and a friendly shoulder brush against hers. Looking up she saw Morrie and gave her a smile.
“Oh hey…”
"'Ey sweetheart." Callused fingers wrap around Cass' softer ones and Morrie leans into her shoulder. For once she's not being overly brash and loud, and she gives Cass a look of mild concern.
"What's got ya scrunchin' ya face up so much? 'S gonna stick like tha' if ya ain't careful."

A patrol was easy enough, Morrie wasn’t worried. She and her massive spiderant went out to do patrols all the time when they got tired of being cooped up inside the camp. She let go of Cass and winked.
“I’ll b’ back ‘fore ya know it!”
Of course, Pandora being what it was, there was never a guarantee of success. The shrieking of an injured spiderant that caused all the other ones in the camp to take note was the first clue that something had gone amiss. Mitch, Avery’s knight, went scurrying off without him and came back shrieking in distress just as he recognized the pitch of the other ant as Morrie’s Mim. If Mim was hurt Morrie was sure to be too and he went skidding into Cass’ clinic as Jax took off for the camp entrance.
“Cass! Something happened, Morrie’s hurt! Dunno how bad but Mim doesn’t make noise like that unless it’s bad!”
Of course, Cass being Cass, she believed her that she’d be right back and that everything would be fine. Instead of spending any time worrying about the other woman she spent most of the day thinking up things she’d like to do with her when she got back.
From her position in the clinic Cass couldn’t hear the shrieks of the spiderant, so it was quite the shock when then man burst in.
“W-What?” Her eyes went wide and she immediately stopped what she was doing.
“What happened? Where is she??”
"I don't know, something must have gone wrong on her patrol," he says, running a shaking hand over his dreads. "Jax went to get her and I came to warn you before he- Fuck! Morrie!" He ran back out to help Jax get the woman inside the clinic.
Morrie was covered in blood and it was hard to tell what was hers and what wasn't. A gash on the shaved side of her head had been hastily and messily bandaged, and more red stained bandages wrapped around her torso and covered several gashes and bullet holes in her skin. The most obvious injury was the broken off blade of a buzzaxe buried just below her right shoulder, deep enough that it had impacted and stuck in the bone. The queen had been smart enough not to try getting the thing out and Jax was very careful not to touch or disturb it.
Her eyes were open but just glassy slits in a nearly white face.
"She said it was CoV," Jax said as they carefully got her onto a cot. "Nice horde 'f 'em too. Mim looks like shit too but th' ants 'll take care 'f her better 'n we can."
😍
"Oof! I do love a woman who c'n kick my ass! Always somethin' extra sexy 'bout 'at!"
😍
"Aw you~ Back at ya sweetheart, prettiest thin' I ever did see~"
Send 😍 if your muse finds mine attractive. They’ll give a reaction of some kind.
Doesn’t automatically mean we’re going to ship. Just means your muse finds mine pretty.

She gives the other woman a smooch on the cheek through her bandanna.
“Promise. I’ll b’ back inna couple hours at most, ’s jus’ a routine territory patrol ‘n shit, shouldn’t b’ a problem. I’ll count th’ hours till I get back.”
“Heh, you better. Because, y’know, i’ll totally be able to tell if you didn’t.”
She was joking course, but she pressed a quick kiss to the other’s covered cheek for luck.

spiderantsandbullets:
“Guilty! Ya so cute when ya all needy ‘n wantin’. Can’t resist.”
“Guess I should take that as a compliment. But still, rude.”
Morrie laughs and wraps her arms around the woman.
“Ya life’s so ‘ard innit? Gimme until this evenin’, I’ll distract ya from ya woes. Gotta do a patrol ‘n shit 'fore then though.”
Cass chuckled as she felt the other’s arms around her.
“Promise? Make sure you think of me plenty while you’re gone. I’ll be thinking of you.”
She gives the other woman a smooch on the cheek through her bandanna.
"Promise. I'll b' back inna couple hours at most, 's jus' a routine territory patrol 'n shit, shouldn't b' a problem. I'll count th' hours till I get back."
"Ey Cass, c'mere! I gotta introduce ya t' m' seconds 'n m' lil brother!" Morrie stands with two men and a badass psycho, waving at the doctor to get her full attention. One of the men is outfitted like a shock nomad with the hood and mask off, the other is dressed in a bright jacket and so clean and ordinary he looks nothing like a bandit. The psycho towers over them all but stands calm enough with the other three.
Cass walked on over to the small group, a smile on her face to greet new people.
“Oh, i’ve been wondering when i would get to meet them… Though I had no idea you had a brother.” Admittedly she was still a bit intimidated by the presence of the psycho, but seeing as he was calm it put her a bit at ease.
The one dressed as a nomad nods to her, seeming bemused by the situation at most by his expression. He’s an older man, lines around his mouth and grey eyes, salt and pepper hair cropped short but messy from being in a hood too often. The other is taller then everyone but the psycho, a much younger face, dark skinned with neat dreadlocks pulled up in a ponytail. His eyes are amber, practically gold, and he gives her a charming smile.
“This’ Jax,” Morrie points to the nomad. “An’ Avery. Jax does a lot ‘f th’ day t’ day stuff ‘n does raids wit’ me, Ave takes care 'f a lot 'f th’ supplies 'n shit. Ya ever need anythin’ an’ I’m not 'round, ya ask 'em an they’ll get ya what ya need. This,” she points up at the psycho leaning over them all to peer at Cass. “Is Steven. 'E’s m’ lil brother. Relatively speakin’.”
He grunted and waved with his little arm.
“The scar stitcher, wound wrapper, flesh freer.” His voice is deep and rumbling, eyes bright and keen behind his mask even if his speech is just as rambling as most psycho’s.
Cass gave a friendly nod to each man in turn as they were introduced. It was good to finally meet the people Morrie had spoken of when she first met her, with the addition of the psycho. She wasn’t expecting that.
She blinked when he spoke, taking a second to register what he was saying and understand it before nodding. He wasn’t wrong. Those were all ways you could kind of describe a doctor.
“It’s nice to meet all of you.”
"Good t' know we'll have someone t' put us back t'gether after raids," Jax said, voice deep and gravelly with the same sort of drawl that Morrie has.
"Personally I'm gonna be glad to have someone else who's not a bandit around here," Avery chimes in and Morrie promptly kicks him in the ankle. "Ow! Hey, come on I can be excited for that! I like being able to keep my accent and not being infected with the bandit drawl." His voice is smooth and even, with only the slightest trace of said drawl from living with them for so long.
