If The Pitt producers are using the argument of “its a teaching hospital, people come and go” to explain why Dr. Mohan won’t be back, then by that logic, all the 4th year med students shouldn’t be back. It makes more sense to write them off than to write Mohan off. I love Javadi and Kwon (I will happily live without Ogilvie) but 4th year med student rotations are 4 weeks long at most. Javadi coming back this season made sense because she needed an ED sub-internship rotation but the only way I can see Javadi coming back in S3 is if she’s on an elective in emergency psychiatry. Even then, doubtful that 1 case would keep her there all season. If it’s the same academic year, those med students are on other rotations.
