( DAISUKE. )
“Y-Yeah, THAT word! I want to meet new people, I want to visit new places, learn cultures… Maybe I can write and mix local ingredients on ramen and make different types!”
Enthusiasm.
“You know… I know an understandable English. My granny taught me a few Portuguese skills. I can survive in the world with it… But I can’t without money.”
Here was he feeling defeated. But would he give up on it?
“I don’t care! I gonna find my way to do that! I can do it!” - then he switched to English - “I CAN DO IT!!”
“Do you think he can do it?” - Vee had been awaken from that noise and had heard the convo - “Living outside his comfort zone?”
“S-shut up!” - Dai switched back to Japanese.
Ken perked up, listening intently at Daisuke’s ideas. Honestly, he was a bit surprised. He’d never known his friend had all these plans. “I didn’t know you knew how to cook.” He said, noticing the slight change in demeanor. He smiled a bit.
“You should. That sounds like a fantastic idea.” He said, glancing to Veemon for a moment. “I think anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it.” He smiled again, looking back up to Daisuke. “Maybe you can test it out first. Let people try some of your cooking.”
