What happened and why it happened. Nothing changes it or makes it better or makes it easier so there is no reason to apologize for it. Im good following the motions. Cody looked away again. “I could have helped her. I could have saved her but my powers lashed out. The years of being locked away, of being used in more ways than one; it all came out.” His voice cracked a bit.
“You don’t have to be good at it,” he finally replied after thinking for a few moments. Oh how he wanted to go get another beer. “You just have to convince others that you are. The first step is convincing others that you are... then you can work on yourself.” The man inhaled, then exhaled slowly.
