My Amazing Cottagecore Front Door Makeover Inspired by Fallout 76???

My front door was in need of a repaint and yes, I could have taken the simple route and just repainted it.  But my maximalist brain wanted something more, something over the top and cottagecore.  I found inspiration in the strangest of places–the MMORPG Fallout 76.  Yes, from that Fallout series set in an post-apocalyptic United States after a massive nuclear war. However, Fallout 76 had some lovely cottagecore elements in it thanks to the inclusion of the town of Helvetia, West Virginia.  So I made a plan, then promptly threw out the plan when I realized it wasn’t working.  Luckily, my daughter Rory was helping me and she is a talented artist.  I handed her control of the project and she took it to a whole other level. I am happy to share this journey with all of you and hope you enjoy the beautiful fairy tale door that’s the result.
