With this one I honestly feel I did pretty poorly compared to some other works. But I know deep down that's just because I was trying a skill in perspective and composition that I'm just not as frequent to flexing. I've learned a fair amount from this piece and I'm just glad I had the opportunity to draw these wonderfully thought out characters in a moment that shows their individualism as well as an attempt to show the connection.

I have loved every bit of artfight and this part has made me appreciate that I can always improve and taught me so much already. I'm looking forward to making a bit more art before the event ends.

With another day comes another attack. I've been so inspired by every character I've seen and made this month and this one is no different. I adore Roanne's story of perseverance and growth. Her kickass energy that screamed for me to call her a queen. I wanted her to be a testimate to the story that her creator told in the bio. A story about a girl who had her life destroyed by mindflayers and as she grew in age and power decided her calling was to protect others from that exact same threat that darkened her life.

I'm so proud of this piece and am so excited to get to do more. The only thing I'm sad about is how close we are to the end of ArtFight. But I know I'll just use that end as a new beginning for myself and can't wait to see what others do as well.

This one was already on my list but I was fueled by revenge to make this one as epic as possible! Axel is such a great design for a barbarian and him having hair let me play into my favorite trait to do with barbarians. The puffed up cat hair! I do not know what it is about the two barbarians I have drawn but the feral hissing cat energy with poofy hair just feels right. I think it adds to the menace!

The flames in the background were inspired by him being a fire based dragonborn and used techniques I've learned since one of my favorite pieces back in inktober last year. All and all this piece is a favorite of mine even if I really wanted to give them a two person masterpiece like they gave me. I feel this single a great reference for a party of how scary your team barbarian can be!

This attack comes from an old love of the game. I never thought to make an Oc for this game beyond my player character, which was just an extension of me.

Raine is such an adorable character with her softer, more shy nature and her interest in the violin. But I really wanted to focus on the world of Animal Crossing and making a complete scene. Catching bugs was one of my favorite activities in the game so I chose for her to be catching a butterfly.

I present my latest Artight Attack! This was for someone I follow on TikTok. They go by Bread_Lord on artfight. We're actually on the same team but I just really wanna attack everyone and I refuse to back down!

Kai was such a pretty character. In both her human and mermaid form. But I draw gorgeous women and fem presenting all the time so I decided full mermaid was the way to go because I wanted to practice making the body and fins feel real. Or as real as my style gets.

plus the underwater vibe just slays. I drew her on a brain coral surrounded by other corals (I don't have the name, I'm not very marine knowledgeable.)

Regardless I loved making this and hope Bread_Lord loves it too <3

I fell in love with this DnD Character named Malstra Pane. She's a College of Lore Bard and she's just freaking adorable. I really wanted to do something fun with her lore, but instead, I just hyper-fixated on her love of jellyfish and the line

"She probably die of happiness if taken to an aquarium to see all the marine life." in her bio

I loved making this and I hope her creator loved the art I made just as much as I loved making it.

This character is a major badass. No magical abilities just pure human spirit and determination in the face of a magical threat. I could have played into that fact and made this epic gun fight or something. But I fell in love with a single character detail. "Enjoys playing brain games (sudoku,etc)"

That one line was like a switch in my brain and there was no tearing me away from what I wanted for this piece. A cozy morning with a plate of finished breakfast, a cup of hot tea or coffee, and a newspaper flipped to all the different puzzles. Nothing felt more perfect than that. A moment of peace for a character who must deal with so much.

I hope that CaiaCroft loves this as much as I loved making it. Happy Art Fight everyone and GO Team comedy!

So I thought about doing this super cute chibi thing with this character but the more I read his Bio and looked at him I really wanted to push myself to so something show stopping. So I put together a great composition and had everything drawn out.

We'll ignore the fact I had to completely redraw it cause my proportions were very off for the angle.

All and all I've just been falling in love with all the characters I've been drawing for artfight and this sweet little bean is one of them. I hope his creator loves this as much as I loved making it <3

This piece is for an artist who is a fellow writer. We're actually in a group together and I consider us friends. So I was itching to draw something for them. Making this was so much fun after reading through the information on them both.

There is no ounce of this character I don't find stunning. She is such a magical design and I was so scared I wouldn't do her justice but there was no holding back I had top draw her.

Gieva the dragonborn Druid is such a delightful character. she gives this soft quiet vibe that made me think even if she wasn't a druid. animals and insects would just go to her like a disney princess.

That is where I got the idea for her to be crunched down amongst the brush of the wilderness and for this magical butterfly to just have chosen her as its perch.

With my first attack of my first ArtFight. I decided I'd roll on the list of characters I had grabbed because there were too many to choose from reasonably. This trend will continue going forward minus my focus on revenge. Because I'm randomizing which character I attack I'm going on first vibe or idea I have for artwork after rereading their rules and details. 

So of course when I get this adorable little angel I decide to step into my newly forming animation skill and make an adorable ear wiggle and blep. Dandy is baby and anyone who says otherwise can fight me.

I'm so excited to be seeing all the art coming out during the month and I'm gonna push myself to try so many new things as well as draw characters like anthros and Ferals because I really wanna add beasties to my portfolio. As well as draw more Men! But I'm a girly who loves other girlies so its definitely gonna be that one audio clip that goes "I drank a beer! I drank another beer. Jumping ahead to the important part) six beers, Seven beers. and a bloody mary!" XD

Yeah that audio is gonna be me. It's gonna be like eight women, one furry, and an effeminate man I just know it. But I'm gonna try. I'm so excited for my first year and looking forward to all the attacks and revenges I plan to make. Everyone's gonna have a great time. LETS GO TEAM COMEDY!

This is Prince Kaelen's character sheet. He's from the same story as Teliska so we have two forms for him. The start of the story as a prisoner (recently escaped) and near the end of the story. The prince returned home.

Kaelen is a force to be reckoned with, no matter the point in the story he's in. He fights back against the guards and King that hold him prisoner at every turn. He even starts off lashing out at Teliska, seeing her as an extension of the king whom she serves. But after her gentle care and some honesty shared between them, he learns she's as much a prisoner as him.

He put his trust in her when she helped him escape. He'd already decided before that point he was bringing her with him when he left. So when she tried to stay behind to keep them distracted from his absence as long as possible he refused to let her stay and risk death for saving his life. I really love the transition I've been developing for both of them as they both grow and change with one another, some of those changes get physically represented like Teliska's hair growing longer as she lets herself have the freedom to choose what she wants to look like. But Kael changes in a much more mental way as he comes to terms with betrayals and his trust in others changing. Ultimately his story is about fighting for more than just what others want you to be and the duty put upon you. He finds something he will fight for that isn't out of duty but out of his own desire.

This one is very slapped together because I was tired and rushing, cause I wanted it done in time to make posts throughout the month. I also really just hate not shading my work because they look so bland.

I love my dear Teliska and really wanna show off the two extremes in her style over the story. From her servitude to her queendom, she has this massive change in style. Partly because of climate differences. She moves to the mountains, which are cold and treacherous, so wearing more layers and proper boots is important. But she, of course, also gets a shift in status which comes with her husband having things made for her to show off that she is his queen.

No matter what, she will always be my insightful and compassionate Teliska, and when the story she was made as a side character for finally starts, I'll be so excited to have her be that guiding force for my two MCs. Provided I don't have Adrian completely piss her off first XD.

This is a portrait of her later in the story when she has finally made it to safety with the love of her life. The two of them are working hard to get him back to his routine of normal while also learning to set boundaries and the trouble for her is they need to prove to the courts she's work keeping around.

Kaelen can't stand her being disrespected because regardless of her status from birth or anything else she is his equal and anyone treating her as less gets an earful, if not the risk of a mouthful.

Dressing Teliska in the warm colors of her new home was a bit uncertain for me given her hair gives her a very cool and snowy feel but the warmth of the clothes makes me love the contrast of her hair that much more. I'm really proud of how the golden hair stick looks, I was scared the dragon would look like crap but I feel it's a perfect show of her new life and her connection to the prince of a kingdom tied to dragons. I'll be sharing the rest of my characters' headshots and ref sheets until the end of the month, and then every post next month is Artfight! I'm so excited!

I had every intention to share my team profile picture and a link to the video I was making introducing all my characters. BUT the video got corrupted and kept not loading properly and then the save got saved over and I'm just gonna give myself the day to get that figured out without stressing myself out with a deadline I set.

So instead I introduce a face some of you are familiar with. Diana. A. Faris. She's my first and only played DnD character. She's an archfey warlock. She's from a city that was locked away from the rest of the world that was at war between the celestials that were once their gods and protectors. Ten years passed and the world was open to the children of Unity again.

My dear Diana was 15 at the time and a genius up-and-coming wizard. She met the powerful Archfey of Autumn Wind and Fire (Lady Kharasi) and after befriending her developed a crush that has never been return.

Lady Kharasi would years later (Age 18) become Diana's patron when Diana made a promise to her to show her the good in the world and if there was none where she looked, she would make it herself. This promise was in Diana's mind one made among friends but Kharasi took it seriously and bestowed her blessing upon one of her. This changed Diana's whole connection with magic and all her skill in wizardry became nothing but knowledge she couldn't use.

Still she's worked hard to reconnect with magic through her new channels of magic and she's a wealth of love and the heart of her DnD party(Age 20). Her plan is to open a guild and be a teacher and guide to other adventurers when she retires from adventure herself.
