Stans on twitter genuinely cannot be normal about Hudson’s girlfriend and it’s getting weird. Like are we really going to do the same discourse cycle every single time he brings her to an event? Cropping her out of photos, editing her out entirely, zooming in to make fun of her outfit, hair, face, whatever… all because some people are still holding onto HUDCON (romantic way, not friendship).

And the thing that gets me is Hudson has explicitly asked people to stop rpfing. And he literally said he loved his girlfriend in his acceptance speech…

Every public appearance turns into either “she’s ruining everything” discourse or conspiracy theories about how the relationship is fake. I even saw one that said his mom doesn’t like her… HUH? How could you possibly know this???

I just wish stans could just ignore the partner of a celebrity they like? You don’t have to obsessively hate her because she isn’t who you want him with (Hudson and Connor have said they are BEST FRIENDS).

ALSO: I do love Hudcon (platonic soulmates!!!). They’re genuinely such a great duo. But honestly, I can’t help but wonder if the fandom’s intense rpf behavior is part of why they seem to have pulled back on posting.
