[id. it's a digital sketch containing 4 panels. in all panels the background is the same shade of dark gray.

on the left side of the first panel, there's a left hand holding the first edition of 'the hobbit', on the right side there's a right hand holding a paint brush. the right hand has marks on it, but it's purposefully crafted in a way it's impossible to say whether they are bruises, blood stains or paint stains. the two hands bonded by a bright red string, glowing slightly and forming a small heart-shape in the middle.

in the second panel, there's a left hand of someone who's clearly falling from somewhere high. it still has the same red string attached to its little finger.

in the third panel, there's a metal hand with the same red string still attached to it, but the string is thinner, torn up and loosened.

in the fourth panel, there're two pairs of hands. on the left side, a flesh and a metal one holding a gun, pointing down at the other set of hands, which are held up high, palm facing forward, in a position that indicates surrender and has the same marks as the right hand in the first panel. the pair is still attached by the same bright red string, but it's thicker and more visible than ever, and it's not just attached to their little fingers but it wraps their entire hands and goes up to their wrists. end id]
