INKTOBER 2017 + PRIZES
Hey Everyone! Welcome to Inktober 2017!
GOAL: TO BE A BETTER ARTIST ON OCTOBER 31 THAN YOU WERE ON OCTOBER 1!
The simple secret to become a better artist is to draw every day!
RULES: Draw/Paint your own take on each prompt in INK. Indelible, noticeable ink. And tag it with these two tags:
#afterhoursanimationschool and #inktober2017
Then either msg or send in as a submission!
I will be posting daily prompt reminders, but you aren’t required to follow them! If you skip a day, you’re not out. Pick yourself up the next day and keep going! If you can only do one or two, we’ll still share them here for publicity purposes!
However, if you want to be eligible for the prize, you have to complete 31 ink drawings by November 1. Ties will be broken with a sudden death match topic sent to each of the finalists and judged by a secret panel of pros I use to judge my own art (so I don’t have to do it)!
PRIZE: This year we’re giving out a $15 iTunes gift card for first place to spend on some ipad drawing software or music or a film! :D First place will also receive a blind box of artist merch from industry pros! But remember the real prize is putting together a body of work for yourself.
If you’re gunning for the first place prize though, make sure to msg me, so I don’t miss an entry. It has happened before, and it helps to know who is participating.
NOW ONTO THE PROMPTS! THIS YEAR IS WORLDBUILDING AROUND A MAIN CHARACTER!
