He had only agreed to take a walk with her because the blind goose would definitely trip and fall to her death if he let her wander around the wilds on her own. And that would mean no more home made food and a place to hide for him - Zack was so not ready to give that up just yet. Not like he gave a shit about the nun or anything. baka. 

And just as expected, she almost fell down a steep hill when she was about to walk straight into a ditch. So the killer had quickly grabbed her and jumped over the ditch, letting her back down on the other side with an annoyed sound escaping his ground teeth.

She said she needed to collect something for the cake she was going to bake. If it weren’t for the cake he would’ve told her to keep her ass inside instead of playing babysitter. But here he was, stomping around the woods and trying to make sure she wouldn’t end up killing herself which was pretty ironic considering their relationship. 

❝ Move your ass already! We’re gonna be here all night if you keep walking so slowly! ❞ The irritation in his voice was clear but it wasn’t like he could do anything about it other than actually carry her all the way.

              Sister   Mary   always   strived   to   be   independent   as   much   as   she   is   physically   able   to.   All   along,   she   was   turning   outward;   expressing   love   to   the   world   in   the   hope   of   some   coming   back.   The   blind   nun   offered   her   soul   like   a   brilliant   white   light   -   𝐚   𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞   𝐭𝐨   𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥   𝐚𝐧   𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠   𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝   𝐨𝐟   𝐜𝐲𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦.   Yet,   what   they   saw   was   her   wounded   side   and   pushed   her   further   away.   That   survival   instinct   to   sideline   the   weak   kicking   in.   Instead   of   being   confused,   she’s   come   to   understand   that   in   order   to   help   others   she   must   be   strong   in   herself.   Love   herself.   And   so   she   takes   that   love   she   poured   outward   and   let   it   flow   in   her   own   veins.   She   takes   her   adversity   and   make   it   her   advantage.

              Despite   wanting   to   do   things   by   herself   today,   Zack   is   a   joy   to   be   accompanied   with.   He’s   quite   the   character.   Besides,   she   wasn’t   expecting   the   windstorm   last   night   to   create   so   much   damage   outside.   It’s   a   good   thing   Zack   is   here.   𝐀   𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥   𝐚𝐜𝐭   𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦   𝐆𝐨𝐝.   The   thought   manifested   a   warm   smile   upon   her   round   features.   A   silent   thank   you   gracing   his   way.   ❝  𝑰’𝒎   𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆   𝒘𝒆’𝒍𝒍   𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉   𝒖𝒑   𝒊𝒏   𝒏𝒐   𝒕𝒊-  ❞

             𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐆  !

               A   bullet   passes   near   her   head;   almost   touching   her   soft   complexion.   It   silenced   her   laughter   and   made   dull   her   impaired   eyes.   Oh,   what   a   frightful   sound.   𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲   𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭   𝐭𝐨   𝐭𝐡𝐞   𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞   𝐚𝐢𝐫   𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞   𝐡𝐞𝐫   𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦   𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬   𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠   𝐡𝐞𝐫   𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞   𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐞   𝐬𝐨   𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲   𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝.   It   was   as   if   that   sound   had   become   the   murderer;   a   brutal   shout   from   the   coldest   of   "  lungs.  "   It’s   not   like   she   can   see   what’s   going   on.   This   Woman   of   the   Cloth   is   blind,   after   all.   Still,   her   ears   could   hear   what   sounds   like.  .  .   gun   shots  ?  !

            “  GET   BACK   HERE  !  ”

            “  I’LL   FUCKIN’   KILL   YOU  !  ”

            Multiple   echoes   of   gunfire   rang   around   in   different   directions.   Eyelids   widening   at   the   sudden   chaos   that   which   she   cannot   see,   but   can   most   definitely   assume   this   is   some   sort   of   gang   fight.   ❝  𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔   𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈   𝒐𝒏   𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆  ?  !  ❞   Sister   Mary   was   about   to   turn   around   and   hide   inside   the   sacred   building,   but   not   without   grabbing   Zack’s   wrist   and   ushering   him   to   follow   her.   A   cautious   whisper   escaping   quivering   lips   to   avoid   attention,   as   she   gives   him   a   stern   look.   (  Masking   the   fear.  )   ❝  𝑰𝒕’𝒔   𝒕𝒐𝒐   𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔   𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕   𝒏𝒐𝒘.   𝑾𝒆   𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕   𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅   𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌.  ❞   They   were   so   close   to   their   destination,   but,   alas,   safety   comes   first.

             ❝ 𝑶𝒉, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅. ❞ Sister Mary was in the middle of folding her clothes when she felt a familiar furry animal laying on one of them. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 ! A gentle hand carefully pets the cat from it's head to it's back slowly. The fur baby can have it for now. She'll tend to it later when they're finished with it.

             𝐀 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲. Lack of breath and sweat is felt through her body; that feeling of exhaustion and lethargy. For as her lungs work to bring in the much needed oxygen, she feels as if she's somehow drowning from the air. In this need to escape, her head and heart go to the place that is crushed and without light or match to bring a comforting spark. Being chased by someone who wants to take your life brings a primal fear and the body and brain goes full survival mode. Blindness be damned. The despair of it all manifested tears to roll down from her terrified eyes.

             Somehow, after many sharp turns and bumping into things, the blind nun was able to lose him eventually when she didn't hear footsteps nor laughter anymore. A possible miracle from God. Still, her brown boots continued to run like they had a mind of their own and were unsure of safety yet. She noted a sudden difference of the ground. It felt uneven; like random little hills dispersed at various locations. ❝ 𝑶𝒐𝒇 ! ❞ A collision against something hard hitting her stomach prompts her to flail her arms in the air and caught herself leaning on a smooth nonmetallic matter. Unbeknownst to the devout woman, this is a gravestone accompanied by a sculpture of an angel atop that she's hugging right now. 𝐀𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐆𝐨𝐝❜𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬. She took this opportunity to halt herself and catch her breath for a while. An audible gulp left parted lips that seem to start showing beginning signs of her lungs calming down, so she takes another step.

             Wait. There's wind blowing underneath ? Her feet left the surface. Is she flying up ? No. . . she's falling ! ❝ 𝑬𝒆𝒚𝒂𝒂𝒂𝒂𝒂𝒂𝒂𝒉 ! ❞ Just like Alice in Wonderland, the nun falls into a hole. A pained yelp leaves her upon hitting impact. Shakily, she stands and feels around via outstretched hands. It's dirt. So she really is stuck in a hole after all. She shouldn't stay here stupefied forever and call out for help, but what if the dangerous man hears and finds her ? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐮𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨.
