Chat Noir asked Ladybug to meet in him the sewers after an akuma battle. With his back to her, all he said was “Plagg, I renounce you” dropped the ring, and left as Adrien. Ladybug never saw his true identity, and Plagg never got a goodbye. Now they better leave before the walls come crumbling down.

Putting a male protagonist in the position Adrien is in IS GOOD. It goes to show how often people tend to overlook male victims of abuse and harassment because, oh- you know, why bother pay attention to that. they’re GUYS. suck it up right? :))) Adrien is a super interesting character, full of love despite his upbringing, in denial about his situation due to a complex relationship with his father, willing to take the shots for those he loves so dearly. By no means is this boy perfect, but the world perceives him as just that, putting more pressure onto him, to watch his steps and never talk out of turn. Emotional Responses? More like ~hysterical outbursts~, amiright? Sounds familiar? That’s what women get blamed for on a daily basis. A male protagonist facing issues that people would immediately recognize if he was female goes to show the double standards and lack of media coverage on male victims of abuse.

TLDR Adrien is a very well written character, depicted realistically. It’s okay to have other favorite characters or plot lines but dismissing Adrien’s situation/The Agreste plotline as “an annoying pity party” goes to show how people just don’t take these issues seriously when the victim of abuse/harassment is male.

Yea so I watched the New Vegas intro again and this happened. also wrote a little ficlet under the cut if you want to read it. Yea I know my Handwriting sucks.

They finally did it! They found hawkmoth and tracked him to his lair in the Agreste Mansion.

After a short brawl Hawkmoth was forced to his knees in clear defeat.

We've done it finally we've got him! Ladybug thought as Hawkmoth lay on his knees in front of her.

What was she supposed to say now her rousing victory speech her monologue of triumph? She had stood there awkwardly for twenty seconds now and Chat was getting fidgety. In her haste, she panicked.

"You've made your last Akuma Hawkmoth"

"I'm glad Adrien doesn't have to see you like this"

She heard Chat take a sharp inhale but elected to ignore it as she continued with her improvised speech.

"From where you're kneeling it must seem like an 18 karat run of bad luck. . ."

"Truth is. . ."

"The game was rigged from the start."

With that, she fwipped her yoyo out knocking Gabriel Agreste unconscious.

Chat turned to her with an unreadable expression.

"Chat?" Marinette asked tentatively.

At that moment Chat burst into laughter confusing the superheroine.

"My Lady, did you just copy the New Vegas intro?"

"I panicked ok, I didn't know what to say!" she threw her hands up indignantly as the catboy continued to laugh at her.

Ladybug: "Chat that's the 11th temp we've lost this fight!"

Chat Noir *Doing math in his head*

Ladybug: "Chat!"

Chat Noir: *Pulls out his Baton and opens it, hitting the play button*

Baton speaker: "ENEMY AC-130 ABOVE"

So how about that season 4 Ladynoir angst am I right fellas. Not gonna lie really want to see an akuma bug for multiple reasons. The design as many could guess is based on Emperor Napoleon as I would be lying if I said he wasn't one of my favorite historical figures. anyway Vive l’impératrice.
