some different stages of a real fine freak who is still very much in the works… and if all comes right will be something I am sooooooo bloody proud of 🙊🙈

Pic one: the freak is inside a bag to stay wet while I sculpt it little by little in my spare time

Pic two: the freak has been bisque fired and I have started to underglaze the teeth and eyes

Pics 3n4: the freak is getting a checkerboard pattern underglazed, I didn’t sketch it out beforehand, just went right to it and tried to follow the flow of the sculpt and no get too upset when mistakes happened

Video: the freak, fully underglazed 😍 so right now they r waiting for a second bisque firing… which ugh I’m still not sure if I’m doing the right thing cus I want to glaze it as well and 3 firings is punishing, especially for wee bitty pieces like their teeth n tongue and fat doobie. Pray for the freak, pray to the kiln gods for me, more to come 👀

dead dog got his glaze firing, a few issues here n there with bubbling, like his eyes n teeth n that- think I have used too thick an application of underglaze?? oh the mysteries of ceramix! over all very pleased, gonna take some nice creepy pix outside one of these nights

transexual devil wearing some socks!! after bisque firing, glazed him the other day, but the DCW kiln is getting a service and the new element will be a wee while, so im patiently waiting for his second cooking, which will make him a bold red, brighten up his socks and make the black hairs etc rly pop
