i am wondering if i should merge the multis together again because 3 blogs is a lot. maybe lower the muse list down. but then i’d have to change aesthetics. hm.

“in theory.” it would probably be more relaxing if she wasn’t constantly worried about what the team was up to while she was taking this time to herself. they were adults but in so many ways, they were wayward toddlers. her hand shifted slightly to get it into a better position but didn’t let go of his hand. “guessing you get to relax about as much as i do.”

“oh yeah, it’s practically impossible these days.” because something was always coming up, something was always getting in the way of him wanting to rest. any time he ever thought about taking a break, something would come crashing in through the door and that would be the end of that thought. “it’s a rarity in our kind of lifestyle, unfortunately.”

“i’m a quick healer.” he was actually the slowest of the group but this man didn’t need to know that, did he? besides, it was technically the truth, or as close to the truth as he could get without inviting scientific experimentation or an insane asylum. booker offered a smile that didn’t quite meet his eyes, “don’t worry about me, i’m fine.”

barry wasn’t sure if he believed that - because a lot of people healed quickly but not to that degree. people didn’t just bleed and heal up that fast. lips pressed together momentarily and he sighed quietly, hand rubbing over the side of his face. “uhhuh, i’m sure you are. well - that’s one hell of a super power.” he had quick healing but not like that.

          “Mmhm.” God, and Victor loved to see him smile. Damn it. Why does he have to be so incredibly weak for any damaged, attractive man willing to give him the time of day. It’s ridiculous. “Not that people mostly do that kind of things these days, I think. From what I hear there’s a lot of picture-sending and such. On the apps.” Alright, it’s possible that it’s less hearsay and more experience, but even so.

        “Right, right - yeah. Steve tried signing me up to a couple but ... man, I can’t get used to them. Call me super old fashioned but I prefer how we used to do it. Flowers at the door, maybe some music, go out for dinner and see where the night goes. Feelin’ someone up in the back of the pictures, you know?” There’s a cheeky little smirk that follows the next set of words, along with a wink. “You had any good luck with the... apps?”
