Just a quick change to my username! I got married earlier this year, so I thought I’d finally get round to updating my social medias!
I’ve been playing around with 360 paintings, and these are a few shots from my latest one. To see the painting as a 360 panorama, you can view it over on Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mq16ed
Footprints in the snow - 30 minute sketch for Daily Spitpaint
I guess I’m back? It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve sat and painted something for myself, so I thought it was about time to dust off all my accounts and start posting again.

Hey! When you do speedpaints/paint mountains, how do you mimic the way the rocks are shown on it? (I'm gonna guess you use a splatter-y brush! Sorry if my question is wonky!)
Hi! I only really use brushes in this set for rocks at the moment, (in particular the “Marlow” brush, which is a real favourite of mine right now as it’s great for building rocky volume without adding too much texture!)
If I want the rocks to be more detailed and textured, I occasionally use custom shapes to lay texture over a mountain before working into it and defining the shapes. Some custom shapes are a little bit too photo-realistic for my tastes, which is why I tend to use these ones that I made for my own needs. I don’t really use the entire shape, just the texture. I tend to place them all over the image and erase/paint over the areas where I don’t want any added noise.
Custom shapes, combined with the lasso tool and a nice roughly textured brush can create some very cool rocky effects, with lovely sharp edges! I really recommend that you give it a try!
How much do your commisions cost ? Your art is really beautiful and I'm really interested !
Hi! Thank you! The price really depends on what you need, so if you’d like an accurate price please send your requirements to [email protected] and I’ll be able to take a look at it for you! :)

This one was so enjoyable to work on. J Laren made some excellent tweaks to the pyramid, too, so please go check this painting out on their DeviantART page here!
This is something I’ve been tinkering for a few weeks between commissions, as a warm up. Coastal scenes are still my favourite!

A commission for J Laren for their upcoming dark fantasy trilogy!
This was so fun to work on, as it’s so different to what I normally paint!
Your work's wonderful! I've been marveling over the atmosphere, light, and tangibility you're evoking in your work. Really lovely. I've been dabbling with new sketches and portraits on the Wacom and I'd love to see more of your character work, too, if you're game for that. (I'm learning a lot from your sketches already!) Thank you for your time and for sharing your work with us.
Thank you so much!
I’m definitely going to post more characters at some point, too! :)
