of course, x6-88 is around! he and ms. director have been traveling together for a while now, ever since she became director pretty much. he loves traveling with her and strong, even though he does love to complain, as well. he's definitely wondering why strong gave her a flower and not him...
i have this joke i always say that ms. director was an english/art history major back in the old world and maybe she even taught a little shakespeare at one point. when she and x6 meet strong, she realizes he's a sensitive soul and he needs to be exposed to more art and culture, and she's just the person to do this for him. it's a return to her roots. it's something she actually knows, unlike institute operations where she just kinda wings it (which is exactly what shaun wanted) (also this is the beginning of the inspiration for her personal experiments at the institute on making sensitive, poetic, artistic super mutants).
so there they all are, ms. director with her fav boys strong and x6, taking a stroll on spectacle island. strong has ventured a little off, as usual. x6 and ms. director continue to explore the island, searching for enemies and scouting the land for institute development. after a while, ms. director notices strong approaching her, holding a single hubflower; he plucked it as carefully as he could so as not to destroy it before he shows her. it reminds her of the way a little child gives their mother a flower. she holds onto it the rest of the evening, and puts it in her bag at night to preserve it later.
ms. director has come to love strong and x6 so much. she feels a sense of motherhood toward many third gen synths and this is basically how she can tell synths apart from humans; it's literally a sense she has (that she couldn't explain before learning about the institute, she just had this strange innate affection towards certain individuals who turned out to be synths, such as danse and magnolia). she also feels motherly toward all her robotic creations; and, now, toward strong and her other super mutant experiments.
even though shaun is dead, she can still be a mom in some kind of way :)

this scene is an idea i've had pretty much ever since i met strong, inspired by an irl moment that happened to me; basically, i was in a lavender field and someone plucked a lavender flower and gave it to me ~ but i wasn't motivated to draw it until my TWIN also did the idea after i requested it and it was so beautiful and happy. i think everyone should draw this moment for all characters, it makes me happy :) maybe one day i'll do smth similar with my skyrim characters. (not hiljas with her boys tho bc she'd beat their asses for giving her a flower.. "what, you think i'm some dainty alchemist?" by talos, vilkas or farkas, she's a warrior of jorrvaskr!)
and i probably say it a lot but yeah ms. director has completely lost her marbles so that's why she is the way she is 💜

yeah idfk which one is which in this lmaoo. but if i had to actually decide i would say she's kissing farkas and vilkas is the one kissing her shoulder.
btw if it's not obvious, in my au, hiljas is with both farkas and vilkas. it's just that hiljas can't and won't choose between them—and they don't seem to mind (most of the time..). it's very much a toxic thing all around.. but i won't get into that.
hiljas getting involved with these two at the same damn time really doesn't happen... her relationships with them are quite separate. i won't say they've never done stuff with all three of them together but it's just not really something they do. i just really loved this pose lol.
and like i always say (i know i sound like a broken record but i do NOT want anyone saying shit to me about this) in my au, farkas and vilkas are completely entirely identical and only hiljas can tell them apart upon first glance (and other circle members as well but they can mainly identify them by scent, not appearance). this is made more obvious bc in my au, vilkas chops his hair and beard less frequently so it tends to get a lil bit longer like farkas' (but my farkas loves to keep his hair loooong long long hehehe)
i drew this months and months ago and kept redrawing it over and over but this is the first (and best) version lol. ummm accurate proportions whomst??? anyways idc that much but for this reason i am not posting this on my skyrim sideblog @helgiafterdark bc it's just like yeah not the greatest (not being self deprecating i'm just keepin it real) (it's my bad bc i used a reference for this pose but just winged the rest tbh) also i forgor which way i initially drew this so i just put both directions lmao.
here's my boy, his name is coldheart. he loves animals and sunny days.
he's nocturnal, and animals are afraid of him.
coldheart is one of ms. director's (my sole survivor, the institute director) personal experiments. ever since she met strong, she has a fascination with introducing super mutants to art and literature. so, she's reopened the FEV lab at the institute for her own interests.
like strong, coldheart is very sensitive and romantic, and he loves to quote poetry (these are what ms. director considers to be strong's defining traits. she's crazy). he can even read. he's intelligent enough to speak in grammatically correct english, but his sentences are still very short.
he loves to go outside and bask in the sunlight, but it makes him very sleepy.
he won't eat animals unless he's starving. of course, he does kill and eat humans. he especially loves to eat children.
i'd love to see if anyone else has a super mutant oc!! or maybe i can draw some more ;3c i'll probably create more at some point anyway bc ms. director likes making these guys lol. i think her next experiment will be teaching a super mutant to paint :P
as i say for all my farkas/vilkas art, you can view this as either farkas or vilkas. this is actually farkas, though. he's bathing in lake illinalta, near hiljas' forest home.
been trying to figure out a style, and idk, whatever this is i think i may just keep doing it for now. also, it was a small part of my new year's resolution to make myself put an actual background in my art so i'm trying to think of even more Situations to draw them in. i'll probably do at least a couple more in this scenario though xD

btw my top fav is actually magikarp but i love psyduck a lot too, and i've been wanting to draw her as a wizard for a while now!! my other favs are aggron, hydreigon, sylveon... well, i have a lot of favs tbh.

another thing about this; i didn't use drew as my reference D; i know, i know. i ALWAYS use drew as my reference for farkas og vilkas! but i was using this model to paint someone else, and it was turning out hoooorribly. so i tried to save it with vilkas bae!
i feel kinda bad, not using drew as my ref for vilkas... it's not exactly the truest to my vision of them, but oh well. maybe it's a younger, leaner vilkas! sigh....... sigh..... sigh....... i'll really save it when i add the body hair. i'm gonna be brave about it, this time!! i swear!!
btw purple is my fav color and i love the way it hurts my eyeballs. adding color behind the sketches is new for me. i think it looks fun tho. and i think putting all the sketches together on one page is also very fun.
trying to actually practice drawing cuz i haven't in a long time D; and i'm kinda tired of painting practice. and it's been so long since i did crosshatching, or hatching, or scribbling... it's mostly scribbling. this is prob the most drawing i've done in like.. actual years probs... i mean whenever i paint i almost always make a drawing first but they're never this detailed (but this is where drawing in purple comes from, it's just easier for me to see it when i'm painting)
maybe these will become paintings eventually, maybe not... (ahem drew with a sword pic, also that first one of drew with his kneepads is actually already a painting i started hehehe and seth's in it too) i just thought these were very fun pics of drew (i mean every pic of him is amazing but ykwim)!!!

this isn't even my most recent painting, and it's not done, but i'm done working on it so i might as well post it. i have to move on to other projects! i'm still trying to get used to procreate/digital art. i think i have it sorta figured out but now i'm really just trying to get faster at these.
