The contrast of the body, with the organic is something that interests me, as the human form is considered one of the most natural things on earth, yet nowadays more and more we manipulate ourselves all the time. In the same instance, the natural plant life in London has become rarer as we make room to build upwards and outwards, quashing the green natural life around us to make room for mass consumption. Notes from meeting Wednesday 07/05

Cecily: 

-Spoke about being interested into hosting some sort of even or club night as a fundraiser, as well as Kickstarter and Go Fund Me being mentioned -is also working on research and buildingher body of work this week. Shot on Wednesday in the studio -Interested in the idea of fake followers and is also going to reach out to her available contacts about galleries and marketing ect.

Will: - Working on ideas and photoboards this week for his projects -Interested in shooting a possible ad campaign for any merchandise we have  -Going to look into outside spaces or vehicles to disseminate our work  -We should book the studio out at least once a week so that we have a base -Suggested organising lunch/coffee or short meetings with some of our contacts/ industry professionals to gain insight and their oppinions -Also said he would make the hash tag banner HQ in illustrator

Gracey: -Shooting this wednesday in the studio with the week being spent looking for interesting ways to edit her photographs i.e. manually cutting them up to re arrange them -Interested in being the organiser/ admin assistant so that we have all of our files in one place and managed in such a way that they are easily used and accessed

Daisy: -Mainly wanted to look at all of the possible merch ideas and designs -Also was going to do reasearch into other streetwear brands as well such as HYPE, Nike, Supreme, Stussy, Independent Trucks, Huf  -Shooting on thursday

Sahar: -Continuing on with work and research this week -Got some shots scanned in and going to shoot more -Spoke about Go Fund Me and expressed interest in some bake sale/ cake making fundraising as well as selling some clothes maybe -Has been updating the blog ands gonna create section links so that you can click through to member specific pages with each individuals tags

Jess: -Is a pop up shop a possibility? Look into areas like Boxpark (too expensive but just as an idea to explore) -Jumble sale/ Clothes sale? Possible market stall space? -Shoot wednesday (07/05) going to carry on with research and gonna start making her own backgrounds for future studio use -Looking at gallery space and going to write a post on the blog about the Wayward Gallery

Saif; You mentioned you fancied doing some merchandising so we had discussed whether you still wanted to do this but collab with Daisy? Lois Wondered if you fancied taking on some serious advertising mojo with will? Only suggestions as you couldn’t make it at the time
