Tbh this commission really helped calm me down, so it was finished much quicker than I thought! 

With their prompt as a base: It’s getting late, you’re laying in bed tucked up and warm, listening to the light pitter-patter of rain on the roof. Your SO had made dinner for the two of you earlier, forgetting that she was also supposed to be eating out with her friends. You doze off, only to be woken up a little while later by the quiet whimper of your SO as she closes the bedroom door behind her.
