It’s a code from one of the Discworld books, basically the people on the clacks would use it to pass a name up and down the line forever in a message so that the person would always be remembered, and now Pratchett fans do the same for Sir Terry. GNU Terry Pratchett has been worked into the code of a lot of websites and used in posts because a man is not dead as long as his name is still spoken.
