The same people who say Silverchair aren't grunge because they didn't originate from Seattle (fair enough) are the same people who call Stone Temple Pilots the best grunge band (they originated from California).

I hate how Silverchair used to get compared to Nirvana or Pearl Jam because they genuinely didn't?!? Like Daniel Johns sounds nothing like Eddie vedder, their songs have completely different styles, and their music sounds quite different. Like no one is listening to a Silverchair song thinking, "Hmmm, this sounds like Nirvana." The only band they sounded like was Alice In Chains with the song Suicidal Dream. That sounded like Bleed The Freak, and that was ONE song. Anyway, enjoy your day, dudes

I haven't posted on here in ages, but I thought I might come on and just say that KISS has been such a big part of my life, and I wouldn't BE who am now if it wasn't for them. Ace might not have been my favourite, but I still love him, and even though none of us met him, I think we can all agree we will miss him like we did. Rest in peace Curly
