I can’t even begin to express how incredibly awful what’s happening right now in charlottesville is, violent neo nazi white supremacist groups are have been open carrying and violently protesting the streets for the past 2 days at least 3 have died and 15+ have been injured, a car plowed through a crowd killing a 32 year-old woman and injuring many more this is, all of my friends have either fled the town or are locked in their houses, almost all businesses have shut down, the governor declared us in a state of emergency, this town has been mine and so many others safe haven of acceptance and love for so many years, with a majority of people here being progressive we voted to take down one of the biggest statues of Robert e lee in one of our central parks and change the name, our town is one of the first to progressively take down racist historical statues like that, and this is what we’re met with, hatred and violence, we’re the epicenter of hate in America right now for our act of trying to move forward, i can’t even comprehend how terrible this is and how terrifying it is to be scared for my friends lives, something needs to change, to everyone else in charlottesville, please stay safe, please stay in, we will fight this

A California family is demanding answers after it says the negligence of staff at San Joaquin General Hospital led to the death of a 15-year-old girl.

They just decided to ignore her. She was beautiful, young, energetic, she was a cheerleader and we lost her, because someone decided not to do his job properly.

She was complaining about an ongoing chest pain for two weeks, so she went to see a doctor, who told her she’ll be fine and gave her antibiotics. After a few days she returned, because she was not feeling any better and the answer was the same “You’ll be fine“.

“She felt nobody is helping her and she didn’t really understand what was going through her body, but she knew something wasn’t right,”her grandmother said .

And then everything went horribly wrong. Here’s what she texted to her mother : “I NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL, I JUST PASSED OUT, I’M THROWING UP NOW,” the message read.

“My granddaughter was walking around suffering from these blood clots for a period of two weeks and us not knowing that these were going to be her last days” . The question is why didn’t they help her? For some reason they felt like she was faking it or smth.Could the same thing happen to a white girl? When white people feel sick the whole hispital staff is there to help, but when it’s about black people we see the same story over and over again.

HELP MY FAMILY MOVE TO RHODE ISLAND.

So a few of you said it was a good idea to set up a YouCaring fundraiser to help. My little makeshift family is taking on a big move. We are getting out of a shitty little apartment in Jersey City where in the last two weeks alone there has been about six shootings and five stabbings within five blocks of our place, and getting ourselves to an actual house out in Rhode Island, that happens to actually be cheaper than the place we’re staying in.

We already have our deposit and first month in, but we need some help offsetting the price of the move itself. We need to get a moving truck and gas money for our car. We need to close out some accounts and open up new ones in the new state. We also are not gonna have pretty much any money for food in our first week or two before we start up our new jobs. This is the new start we need. We’re going to be in a much more stable place for all of our mental health as well as a good break for our wallets.
